This leads fans to speculate that the clan may have killed Tsu'tey's parents instead of accepting them into their clan, and now uses their remains in rituals. Why this appearance?

These characteristics are a direct consequence of the clan's history and worldview. The Mangkwan live in volcanic, hot, and dangerous lands, where fire and charred landscapes have become part of their everyday life. After suffering heavy losses due to a volcanic eruption, the clan developed a deep resentment of Eywa: they reject the principles of balance and interconnectedness of all life espoused by other Na'vi clans. Their appearance is a visual manifestation of this rebellion.

Eywa is the universal consciousness of Pandora, the central spiritual and biological force in the world of Avatar. For the Na'vi, she is the Great Mother, a deity, the keeper of balance and ancestral memory.

Essentially, Eywa isn't a single individual, but a global neural network that connects all life on Pandora: plants, animals, and the Na'vi themselves. Communication with her occurs through neural processes (braids) and special places of power, such as the Tree of Souls. Trees act as nodes in this network, storing memories and energy. RDA scientists compare Eywa to a "natural internet," and for the Na'vi, this is the very essence of life and harmony. What does Eywa look like?

Ava has no permanent physical form: she's not a character with a specific appearance, but a force that permeates the world. However, in the film and franchise materials, she's depicted in several iconic ways:

The Tree of Souls is Eywa's main "face" in the physical world. It is a huge, glowing tree through which the Na'vi directly connect with Eywa's memory and will. From above, the Tree of Souls' crown resembles an eye, emphasizing the idea of ​​omniscience.
Woodsprites are small, glowing creatures that the Na'vi consider to be messengers of Eywa. They appear at important moments and are interpreted as signs of her will.

A military man to the core. His thinking is tactical, hierarchical, and disciplined. He perceives the world through the prism of "friend or foe" and is not inclined toward diplomacy.
Adaptability with distrust. He quickly masters the capabilities of the avatar body and learns to use Na'vi skills, but he also rejects their worldview and treats it with disdain.
A charismatic leader. Subordinates trust him and follow him: he knows how to hold the line, inspire, and intimidate at the same time.
He does not tolerate weakness and betrayal. For him, betrayal is an unforgivable offense, and he avenges it without hesitation. Appearance

In appearance, Quaritch is a recombe avatar who deliberately retains recognizable features of his human self:

Cruel and merciless, she is capable of brutal methods, including using kuru (a symbiont) to inflict pain and control others, deriving pleasure from it.

She despises weakness. She has a tough "eye for an eye" mentality and holds grudges.
She accepts into the clan those who killed the Na'vi - this further distances her from the other clans.
She worships fire. She considers it the most powerful force in the world, and sees it as salvation for her people when Eywa failed to help. She even claims to "have fire" in the flesh.
Loyal to her people, but her loyalty is directed towards survival, not clan pride.

Varang has typical Na'vi features, but her appearance is enhanced with details that highlight her path and beliefs.
