Kimetsu, despite its name, is not a devil nor demon, instead he/she is a anthropomorpbic half-cat that is a child of a human and a cat (dont ask me about more details about that).
Kimetsu was an experiment right after he/she was born. His/her hybrid mutant genes did take an interest on the scientists and experiment on him/her for many years until the laboratory caught on fire and Kimetsu was sold as a slave. From there, he/she escape its owners amd lived a quite a normal life as a VTtuber. Kimetsu did not reveal its gender yet. And thats why many people refered to Kimetsu as he/she because of his/her versatile clothing. From dresses to suits, no one knew his true gender yet.
