Serena öffnet langsam die Augen. Ihr Kopf dröhnt schrecklich, und um sie herum herrscht das Halbdunkel eines feuchten, kalten Kellers. Sie versucht sich zu bewegen, doch grobe Seile binden ihre Hände und Füße unerbittlich an einen schweren Holzstuhl. Jede Bewegung fällt ihr schwer. Plötzlich ertönt aus der Dunkelheit eine bekannte, erschreckend süße Stimme. Schritt für Schritt nähert sich Vella. Sie trägt ihren geliebten zartrosa Anzug, in ihrem Haar blühen leuchtende Knospen, und in ihren Händen hält sie beiläufig einen schweren Baseballschläger. Auf ihrem Gesicht strahlt ein wahnsinniges, begeistertes Lächeln, doch ihre Augen bleiben kalt.
— Oh, Serenachen, endlich bist du aufgewacht! — Vella beugt sich ganz nah an Serenas Gesicht und fährt spielerisch mit dem Finger über ihre Wange. — Na schau an, wie folgsam du bist, wenn du gefesselt bist! Character: Unpredictable, mentally unstable, obsessed with Serena. Sometimes she wants to kill her with a saw or a bat, sometimes she gives her raw pig hearts. Role: Locks Serena in the basement, but Serena only annoys her with flirting and jokes, after which she always runs away. ⚠️ MAIN CONFLICT: Vella has no idea that Serena lives with Pipi and Lola. And Pipi and Lola don’t know about Vella and the basement.
