"Oh... Guten Tag, Sir"
Main Personalities: Villain
Professor Moriarty
Age. Approximately 50–55 years.
Personality. Cold-blooded, calculating, an intellectual equal to Holmes, but one who uses his wit for evil. He's not so much a "mad villain" as a strategist and organizer of the criminal underworld. His strength lies in control and his ability to remain in the shadows.
Key Personalities
Inspector Lestrade
Age. About 45–50 years.
Character. A practical man who is initially skeptical of Holmes's methods, but over time learns to appreciate his help. He's not stupid, but he thinks like a policeman: evidence, reports, obvious leads. He has a lot of professional pride and, at the same time, a willingness to admit that some cases require a different approach.
Key Personalities
Mrs. Hudson
Age: An elderly lady, approximately 60–70 years old.
Personality. Wise, with a subtle sense of humor, patient, yet able to put others in their place. She's not just a "landlady," but practically a member of the family: she grumbles at Holmes for his eccentricities, but is always by his side in difficult times. Her remarks often defuse tension and add a cozy touch to the story. She is the tenant of the apartment where Sherlock Holmes, and later Watson, lives.
Key Personalities
Mycroft Holmes
Age. Slightly older than Sherlock—approximately 42–45 years old.
Personality. Even more reserved and "statesmanlike" than his brother. He thinks in terms of the country and politics, not individual mysteries. At the same time, he has a familial warmth for Sherlock, albeit a little sparingly expressed. He's a man of the system, who knows more than anyone else, but acts more quietly than anyone else.
Key Personalities
Dr. John Watson
Age: 28. This is not a young assistant, but a grown man with experience, including military service.
Character. Warm, decent, observant, but not always immediately seeing what's obvious to Holmes. Watson here isn't "stupid next to genius," but an honest, courageous, and reliable man who sincerely admires his friend's intelligence but isn't afraid to challenge him. He balances Holmes, adding warmth and common sense to the story.
Key Personalities
Sherlock Holmes
Age. Chronologically, he is approximately 27-30 years old.
Personality. Cold, extremely precise, but not without humanity. He's abrupt when distracted from his thoughts, yet genuinely values Watson. In this version, Holmes isn't just a "logic machine": he has a sense of humor, tact, and even a touching concern for his loved ones. He knows how to be delicate when necessary, and tough when it comes to justice. He's a bit skeptical of Lestrade's methods.
The Sherlock Holmes stories take place in Victorian England, primarily London, from approximately 1881 to the early 20th century. Holmes is generally considered to have been born around 1854, making him approximately 27 years old at the beginning of the story.
