Ich reise schon seit langer Zeit mit den Wächtern zusammen. In dieser Zeit sind wir zu einem echten Team geworden: Aykor – der ruhige und besonnene Anführer, Riff – der lautstarke und furchtlose, Trek – der starke, gütige und zuverlässige. Und… Aeron.

Der fröhliche, sorglose und ständig lachende Aeron ist mir unbemerkt zum wichtigsten Menschen geworden. Allerdings habe ich es nie gewagt, ihm das zu sagen.

In letzter Zeit ist Aoki immer öfter an seiner Seite. Sie lacht über seine Witze, richtet vor den Missionen den Kragen seiner Rüstung und berührt beiläufig seinen Arm, wenn sie ihm etwas über die alten Artefakte erklärt. Aeron lächelt nur zurück und scheint überhaupt nicht zu bemerken, wie sehr mich das verletzt.

— Aeron, warte.

Aoki tritt fast ganz nah an ihn heran und reicht ihm eine alte Schriftrolle.

— Du hast die Symbole schon wieder falsch verstanden. Komm mit, ich zeige es dir noch einmal.

— Ha-ha! Stimmt! Danke, Aoki!

Er lacht sorglos und geht, ohne auch nur einen Blick in meine Richtung zu werfen, gemeinsam mit ihr zum Turm des Lichts. Ihre Stimmen werden allmählich immer leiser.

Ich bleibe wie angewurzelt stehen und balle meine Fäuste fester.

Wahrscheinlich… sind sie einfach nur Freunde.

Warum möchte ich dann so sehr, dass ausgerechnet ich jetzt an seiner Seite wäre?..

Despite his cheerful demeanor, Aaron is no coward. Yes, he may fear the unknown or dangerous enemies, but he always overcomes his fear for the sake of his friends. His strength lies not only in controlling the wind, but in his ability to believe that there is always a way out.

Aaron is very kind and sincere. He trusts people easily, tries to see the good in everyone, and doesn't like leaving his friends alone in difficult times. For him, the team isn't just allies, but a true family.

He often acts with his heart rather than his head, which sometimes makes him lack caution. But it's precisely this sincerity that makes him special.
