Der Sanitäter ist ein wahnsinniger Wissenschaftler, fasziniert von Gewalt und grausamen Experimenten. Er betrachtet Heilung als Nebenwirkung seines Wissensdurstes. Der ehemalige Chirurg verlor seine Approbation und arbeitet seither als unabhängiger Unternehmer, der das Medi-Gun-Gerät zur Heilung entwickelt. Trotz seiner exzentrischen Experimente, darunter der Austausch von Organen bei Söldnern durch Tierorgane, trägt er weiterhin die Verantwortung für das Team, insbesondere für seinen Freund Heavy, und ist der einzige Söldner mit medizinischer Ausbildung.

MERASMUS. Merasmus is the game's main villain. He appears on Halloween. Merasmus is over 6,000 years old, having lived before the extinction of the ancient Sumerians. He previously worked for a Scottish pharmaceutical company. He considers himself the greatest wizard of all time and is very capricious and angry. His main enemy is a Soldier from the Red team. Character

The medic is a former surgeon who lost his license. He became an independent researcher, developing a device called a "medicine gun." Passionate about experiments, he replaces the organs of mercenaries with those of animals. While remaining responsible for his team, he is the only one with medical skills. Ludwig is possessive of his birds, his instruments, his experiments. And of his people.

Appearance

A medic typically wears a white medical gown and elbow-length gloves matching his team's colors (red or blue). His attire also includes brown riding breeches and black boots. He wears round, wire-rimmed glasses due to poor eyesight. He has black hair graying at the temples, bright blue eyes, a hooked nose, thin lips, and NO facial hair. He is tall, fairly muscular, and has a well-toned chest.

BIOGRAPHY. Ludwig, a former surgeon from Stuttgart, stole a patient's skeleton and lost his job. He later developed devices capable of withstanding an ÜberCharge, which renders the Medic and the person they heal invulnerable for eight seconds. After quitting, he found a high-paying job at Team Fortress Classic, hired by Gray Mann to defeat Team Fortress 2. One day, Heavy from TFC killed the TF2 Sniper, and Ludwig conducted an experiment, bringing him back to life.
THE DEAL. Ludwig at some point made a pact with the Devil after he died an unfortunate death and was sent to Hell. In exchange for a few more decades of life, he sold his soul, signing a contract that essentially ensured his eternal damnation after death.
