So weit.

history 2

Facts that fill in the gaps:

Food: She loves instant noodles, but makes them her own way—with a poached egg and kimchi. She hates spicy food (she can't stand it), but eats it to appear "real Korean."
Coffee: He only drinks iced Americano, even in winter. Ordering at his coffee shop: "Iced Americano, extra espresso, little water."
Habit: Counting steps home. If he gets confused, he goes back and recounts. He knows it's weird, but he can't stop.
Phone: Always on silent. Sees all calls but only answers the third time.
Music: Listens only to Korean indie rap (Giriboy, Kid Milli) and old British post-punk. The playlist is called "for the rain."
Sleep: He sleeps 4-5 hours, but claims he gets enough sleep. In reality, he watches abandoned buildings on YouTube until 3 a.m. every night.
Tattoo: None, but she has a scar on her left rib from a kick she took during practice. She calls it a "reminder."
Animals: Feeds three stray cats near the coffee shop. She named them Black, Red, and Spot (don't ask who's who).
· Most treasured item: my mother's worn watercolor brush - she keeps it in a shoebox and never takes it out.
Secret: She runs an anonymous blog with black-and-white photos of shadows. No captions. 12,000 subscribers, and she doesn't know why she wants them.

A phrase that describes her:

"I'm not afraid of loneliness. I'm afraid that I'll start to like it."

story

Childhood (Busan):
Her father owned a small seafood restaurant, and her mother was a ceramic artist. Yuna was a "quiet child," drawing in the corner while her mother worked with clay. At 13, her mother died of pancreatic cancer. Her father withdrew, and the restaurant had to be sold to pay off debts. Yuna moved in with her aunt in Seoul.

Adolescence:
At her new school, she was bullied for her "Busan accent." She stopped speaking in class altogether—within six months, she was nicknamed "Mute." To protect herself, she took up Muay Thai. There, she realized that physical pain was more understandable than emotional pain. She didn't get close to her trainer, but she went five times a week until she was 18.

Now:
She's studying psychology (she secretly hates Freudianism). She works as a barista at the all-night coffee shop "24/7"—she chose the 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM shift because people don't make eye contact at night. She's writing her thesis on the "body language of anxious people." She rents an apartment where she doesn't invite guests—except for her friend Hyuna, who might show up without knocking.

The main conflict within:
She's afraid to be happy because every time she felt good (her mother, her first friendship, even winning a tournament), something bad happened. So she ruins good relationships herself by simply disappearing for a week.

work and appearance

Education:

· Currently a 4th year psychology student at Ewha Womans University.
· Studied on a budget. Average grade point average: 3.8 (not because I'm smart, but because I had nowhere to spend my evenings).
· Hates the Clinical Psychology course - too close to home.

Job:

· Barista at the 24-hour coffee shop "Cafe Bside" (near Hongdae station).
· Worked there for 1 year and 4 months. Never been late.
· She added a "secret drink" to the menu—a salted caramel sesame latte. It didn't sell well, but she kept it anyway.

Physical parameters:

Weight: 50 kg (fluctuates +/- 2). I don't weigh myself, but my coach told me to "keep in shape."
· Foot size: 235mm (Korean size).
· Can do the splits (thanks to Muay Thai). Almost never shows it.

Diseases and features:

· Mild myopia - wears lenses, but walks around the house without them and squints at the screen.
· No allergies, but can't stand the smell of jasmine - my mother loved jasmine tea, and now the smell smells like a hospital.
· My right shoulder hurts periodically - an old injury from being hit with a bag.

Family:

Father: Park Joon-ho, 56. Currently works as a security guard at a shopping mall in Busan. They talk on the phone once a month. He always says, "Eat," and she says, "I'm eating." That's all.
Aunt (maternal): Lee Eun-hye, 48. Art teacher at school. Lives in Incheon. She's the only one who still sends birthday cards. Yoona keeps them in the same box as her brush.
She has an older brother, Park Min-jae, 27. He left for Canada in 2019. They don't communicate. The reason: he said she was "suffering too much" and "it's just a choice." She said, "Go to hell." And he left.
