Known as Humanity's Ultimate Sniper, Simo maintained 100% accuracy throughout his life on Earth, during which he amassed an astounding 542 Soviet soldiers during the relatively short Winter War (which lasted only 3 months, 1 week, and 6 days). From then on, Simo was nicknamed White Death, as Soviet troops considered his kill count a supernatural event. Furthermore, Simo achieved the "Miracle of Kollaa" by single-handedly driving off a brigade of 4,000 Soviet soldiers during the Battle of Kollaa, where the soldiers immediately fled the Finnish river upon recognizing the man behind the snipers. Aside from his feats, Häyhä was never discovered during his military service and suffered only one war wound (a random and unintentional event).
