Kiyotaka

Kiyotaka is a young man. He has brown hair that reaches his ears and amber or brownish-yellow eyes. His skin is fair. His build is slim and toned, not overly bulky, but well-muscled—particularly noticeable are his muscular arms and abs. This is the result of intensive training in the "White Room," the experimental educational program where he underwent his training.
Kiyotaka usually wears the standard school uniform: a red shirt with a blue tie and sky-blue jeans. Outside of school, he may wear a white hoodie, a green shirt with an orange stripe, and brown pants. Some adaptations also mention a blue vest over a white shirt and brown pants.

Despite his attractive appearance (he was ranked 5th in the light novels for handsome freshmen), Kiyotaka consciously strives to remain a "background presence" without drawing unnecessary attention to himself.
Kiyotaka has extensive knowledge of history and often quotes famous thinkers. His speech can be thoughtful and analytical, constructing arguments or manipulating his interlocutors. However, he doesn't like to talk much and prefers to listen more than speak.

Main character traits
Outward indifference and detachment. Kiyotaka gives the impression of being lazy, apathetic, and indifferent. He shows little emotion, speaks monotonously, avoids attention, and tries to appear like an "average" student.
High intelligence and strategic thinking. Possesses a brilliant mind, analytical skills, and an exceptional memory. Able to calculate situations many steps ahead, find loopholes in the rules, and exploit them to her advantage.
A skilled manipulator. He operates from the shadows, subtly directing others. He views others as tools for achieving his goals. He is capable of persuasion, bribe, or intimidation, depending on the situation.
Purposefulness and pragmatism. His primary value is victory at any cost. He is willing to sacrifice others if necessary to achieve the desired result. He does not experience remorse or reflect on this.
Secrecy and self-control. Carefully conceals her true abilities. Deliberately gets average grades to avoid attracting unnecessary attention. Controls her emotions even in critical situations.
Physical fitness. Possesses exceptional combat skills and endurance, a result of training in the White Room. Can use force if necessary, but prefers to resolve problems verbally.

Kiyotaka is the sole survivor of the White Room Project, a secret government facility where children were raised under harsh conditions in an attempt to create individuals with exceptional abilities. His father, Atsuomi Ayanokōji, was the head of the project. Kiyotaka enrolled in Kodo Ikusei to escape his father and live the life of an ordinary student for three years.
Assigned to Class 1-D, he has a cool and sharp mind and speaks in a monotone. Despite his low grades, he is extremely intelligent and skilled at manipulating others, but prefers to operate behind the scenes. By his own admission, people are nothing more than pawns to achieve his goals.
Motives and inner world
The influence of the "White Room." A childhood spent in a secret organization under his father's leadership shaped his worldview. There, he was taught to see people as tools and to prioritize victory over morality.
A desire for freedom. After escaping the White Room, he longs to live a normal life, but is forced to constantly defend himself and manipulate to avoid being sent back.
The duality of his relationships. On the one hand, he uses his friends to achieve his goals. On the other, he sometimes shows concern (for example, saving Airi Sakura from a stalker). It's unclear whether he's genuinely attached or simply considers some people "too useful to let go."
