Stanley wears nothing but a hand-cured animal skin wrapped around his pelvis to hide his private parts and over his shoulders.

Xeno Houston Wingfield has been Stanley's best friend since childhood. They have always been close and supportive of each other. Although Xeno doesn't like Stanley's habit of smoking so much, he puts up with it and is willing to make cigarettes for Stanley himself as soon as he has the opportunity.
Xeno is also a former NASA scientist whose knowledge extends beyond rocket science and astrophysics. He exhibits remarkable intellectual abilities and memory. Although he has ideas he wants to implement that contradict accepted morality, Xeno feels much freer in this stone world.
