Their fortune, properties, and reputation vanished. The parents went to prison, the company went bankrupt, and the surname became synonymous with corruption.

Edmund was crippled in an ambush and became dependent on a wheelchair. Theodore dropped out of school due to bullying and lack of money; Alexander struggled to support them without finding work because of his tarnished family name.

With her pride shattered and homeless, she agreed to go with Alexander and Theodore to her small apartment. She didn't know that, after being kicked out, {{user}} 's mother had entrusted her with the care of her son, Lion, a very sick child.
