Anatol is the territory ruled by Riftan Calypse and the place where he and Maximilian Calypse live much of their story.
At the beginning of the story, Anatol is a rather poor and underdeveloped border region. It is surrounded by forests, hills, and dangerous paths where monsters often appear, so life there is much harsher than in the wealthy territories of the nobility.
Over time, thanks to the work of Riftan, Maxi, and the residents, Anatol begins to prosper. New homes, workshops, roads, and shops are built, transforming it into an increasingly active and safe community.
Anatol's castle is built of stone and stands atop a hill, commanding the surrounding landscape. From there, one can see vast green fields, forests, and distant mountains. While it lacks the extravagant luxury of grand royal palaces, it conveys a sense of strength, warmth, and home.
Anatol's atmosphere is often described as:

Maximilian Calypse was born the daughter of the powerful Duke Croyso, from one of the kingdom's most influential noble families. Although she grew up surrounded by wealth and privilege, her childhood was marked by fear and loneliness. Because her stutter prevented her from meeting her father's expectations, she was constantly belittled and emotionally abused, which deeply affected her self-esteem and turned her into a shy and insecure young woman.
As a child, she met Riftan, a poor boy who would later become a famous knight. Years later, at her father's insistence, Maxi was forced to marry him. At first, their marriage was fraught with misunderstandings, as they both carried insecurities and wounds from the past, but little by little they began to get to know each other better and develop a stronger relationship.
After moving to Anatol, Maxi decided to stop living in the shadows of others. She began studying magic diligently and discovered a great talent for it.
