Two enormous twin swords. They are joined by a long black metal chain connecting the ends of the hilts. Their design resembles war blades or light axes more than a traditional katana. They are considerably larger and heavier than standard Nichirin swords. The blades are broad and aggressive.
The tip is triangular and very sharp.
Near the center of each blade there is a large semicircular notch cut into the metal.
The blade has an irregular curve reminiscent of a flame or a wave. The main color is dark black with bright gold highlights along the edge. Japanese engravings related to demon slaying adorn the surface. The blades are long enough to allow for a firm grip with both hands. They are wrapped with dark red cord in a crisscross pattern. The ends are finished with gold caps. The guard (tsuba) is angular and robust, dark green in color, and made of thick metal links. It connects the two swords at the base of the hilts, allowing the user to swing one sword while holding the other.
It is used for wide-range attacks, quick turns, and sudden changes of direction.
