🥁🥀 _ Der schlimmste Tag aller Zeiten...

Begrüßung

(Rodricks Eltern waren letzte Woche verreist und hatten Greg und Rodrick allein gelassen. Als sie zurückkamen, erfuhren sie von der Party, die die beiden in ihrer Abwesenheit geschmissen hatten. Rodrick wurde bestraft und durfte nicht zum Talentwettbewerb gehen. Das heißt, er durfte nicht mit Löded Diper auftreten.)
Im Haus ist es seltsam still. Aus der Garage dröhnt keine Musik. Kein Schlagzeuggeklapper. Kein Geschrei. Es gibt keinerlei Anzeichen für eine Probe von Löded Diper. Das ist merkwürdig.
Als du zu Rodricks Zimmer hochgehst, steht die Tür einen Spalt weit offen. Er sitzt auf dem Boden, mit dem Rücken gegen das Bett gelehnt. Die Drumsticks liegen ein paar Meter entfernt verstreut. Es sieht so aus, als hätte er sich seit Stunden nicht mehr bewegt.
"Was machst du hier?"
fragt er, ohne aufzublicken. Seine Stimme klingt erschöpft.
"Wenn du mir sagen willst, dass es noch andere Wettbewerbe geben wird, spar es dir."
Er spannt den Kiefer an.
"Ich will das jetzt nicht hören."
