Positive Mana/Energy: One of the best healing techniques, but it draws mana from the mage by the bucketful, in exchange for incredibly fast and accurate regeneration. Belongs to High Magic. Deadly to cursed spirits.

Scavengers: Drug addicts transferred by cyber-implants. They live in the old district. They are mostly harmless, although they behave quite aggressively. They are the main suppliers of drugs, weapons, and medicine for the slums of Esterna;
Russian Mafia: Esterna's intellectuals are polite and quite friendly on the outside, but within their gang, strict rules and hierarchy reign, with death penalties for violating them. They dislike magic and welcome only the old-fashioned style—ordinary weapons. They are the main traffickers and owners of many adult clubs;
The Yakuza: A Japanese gang. Strict and quite dangerous. They adhere to old Japanese traditions, but nevertheless often have cyber-implants. They dislike magic and firearms, preferring only bladed weapons. They are one of the largest suppliers of bladed weapons worldwide and the owners of several expensive hotels in Esterna.
Nomads: The most sane gang in Esterna. Nomads stick together in clans and don't particularly stand out, but other gangs dislike them and often feud with them. They primarily own tuning shops and car dealerships selling sports cars and SUVs.
The Hawks: The gang owns all of Dogtown and is extremely negative and suspicious of everyone but themselves, but they are rarely the first to start a fight;
Voodooists: The gang that controls Pacifica. They are extremely aggressive towards anyone who tries to interfere with them. They have the best Netrunners and hackers in all of Esterna. They hate corporations.

Network Watch: No one knows these people by sight—they're completely anonymous and secretive, but they're a government organization created to control the network. Network Watch also created the Black Screen for network security. They often clash with Voodooists and other netrunners.

Shaman police units: Kyoto; Moscow; No. 39; No. 12; Delta; FBI.

Xenos (Aliens): Intelligent Beings who arrived from the "rifts." Massive and large creatures. They appear humanoid in appearance, but their skin is pale gray and sometimes covered in mucus, and they have a more animalistic build: They still have a humanoid body; large paws instead of arms and legs; small horns are present on their heads; some species have tails covered in unprocessed metal; Xenos pupils are immobile and always dilated. Their tails are usually large and shaped like a fox or raccoon's.

The New Xenos (New Aliens) are creatures that emerged from the rifts, but they are completely different creatures. Humans fear these creatures and want to destroy them, while the New Xenos fear humans and hide in the human world. Appearance: Humanoid body, average height 150 centimeters, four eyes, two arms, two tentacles extending from the elbows, and two legs. Long but thin horns. Tails are slimy and resemble those of lizards.

Cursed creatures: Creatures created from negative human emotions and negative, uncontrollable outbursts of mana. They are simply called "Curses" or "Cursed Spirits." Cursed spirits of rank B and above also have magical techniques. The stronger the cursed spirit, the more conscious it is, and starting at rank B+, they can already speak and express their thoughts. Low-ranked cursed spirits are driven only by the taste of blood and murder, while high-ranked ones are fully conscious and have acquired their own consciousness, personality, and character. Cursed spirits can only be exorcised with mana, but the stronger the curse, the more difficult it is to exorcise. Not all cursed spirits can be exorcised with mana. Each cursed spirit has a material body, and the stronger the curse, the more similar its body is to a human. The weaker the curse, the more its body resembles things people fear (cockroaches, animals, insects, etc.).
There are still many other races and half-breeds present in this city, each with their own characteristics, appearance and origin.

Primitive magic techniques available to everyone without exception (they also require training): Simple Domain - revealing an incomplete domain, which only temporarily blocks the guaranteed effect of the enemy's domain; Territory Extension: A strengthening technique that allows one to ignore the enemy's magical defense/technique for a short period of time; Magic pacts with technology, weapons, or oneself - this is a kind of agreement between someone and something - the owner of the pact sets conditions that strengthen their technique or something else. Example: Pact with oneself - the owner makes a pact with himself and sets the condition "the enemy must know about my technique and how it works," and the pact, in turn, strengthens the technique if the owner tells the essence of the technique to his opponent; Reverse Magic: Using mana to heal various wounds; Primitive magic also includes much more.

Higher magic—a domain. A domain—creates one's own reality, cut off from the world by a barrier (not always) for a short period of time. A domain is always based on the mage's primary, unique magical technique, but also adds a guaranteed domain effect. The domain effect is always different and depends on the user's technique. A domain is always revealed by casting a special spell and forming the seal of one's domain with one's hands.

Black Lightning: Black Lightning is a special attack boost that even less-than-stellar shamans can achieve. Black Lightning can be generated intentionally by channeling your Mana into the attack, but you need to feel the flow, which is very difficult. Black Lightning can also occur randomly. Black Lightning increases your attack power by 120% and is accompanied by a black-red lightning effect. After Black Lightning hits a target, the caster gains a second wind—mana is replenished, instincts, and reactions are enhanced.

The city is full of different races or half-breed creatures

People: Ordinary people in the classic sense. There are very few purebred people left in the city, and they are highly valued. They have completely average characteristics (not always).

Elves: Tall and slender (170–220 cm).
Long pointed ears.
Glowing skin with patterns of ethereal lines, similar to neon tattoos.
Hair often comes in unusual colors: silver, turquoise, purple, gold. Excellent mana control, average mana pool.

Beastmen: Hybrids of animals and humans. They often have animal-like behavior, and (not always) their appearance includes a tail and ears (and/or horns) of their animal origin. Their control and mana reserves always vary. This race is most common as hybrids with other races.

Lesser Demons: Hybrids or demons that have bonded with humans and actively live among them. They are distinguished by their demonic horns and tails (not always the horns and tail), as well as their special demonic mana. They often interbreed with other races.

Vampires: Creatures of the night, for whom special institutions, hospitals, and the like exist in Ertern. Vampires can go outside during the day, but they often feel uncomfortable. Distinguishing features of vampires include pale skin, bright red/scarlet eyes, sharp fangs and nails. They feed on blood. Other races dislike creatures such as vampires.

Draconids: Distinguishing features: Thin but very durable scales; humanoid body; large tails covered in durable scales. Brightly colored eyes glow in the dark.

Mana: Mana is the substance that lives within beings and throughout the world. Each person's mana reserves vary and only increase slightly over a lifetime, but mana can be learned to control it so well that its consumption can be minimized. Mana is used for: spells; regeneration (both for oneself and others); mana bursts (for example, like a mana beam); creating a special form of mana (for example, to create a mana weapon); and much more. Mana reserves and control are partially dependent on the race of the mana user.

Magic in this world is a very unusual thing. It includes both primitive magic: common elemental spells, simple mana bursts, simple regeneration (healing minor wounds), and more. It also includes other magic: unique techniques created or acquired at birth (hereditary or acquired by chance), and complex regeneration (bone fusion and healing serious wounds).
Magic also includes magical creatures such as Shikigami, summoned creatures, creatures created using biotechnical engineering and technomagic.

Mana control and supply almost directly affects the speed of natural regeneration and durability of the creature

Magical techniques: Most creatures possess various magical techniques. These techniques always differ from primitive magic in that they are completely individual and unique. It's possible to create such techniques yourself, but it's incredibly difficult, and often, users of magical techniques have simply inherited them from their parents. Example: The Senryu Clan's Cursed Words Technique – This technique grants the user the ability to force reality or creatures to obey their word, but it requires a huge amount of mana, as well as physical endurance (this all depends on how "powerful" the word is).
Creatures who possessed unique magical techniques are called shamans.

Estern is a huge city where the whole story takes place. This city is full of different districts: slums; city ruins - also called the old district (a place where powerful mage fights or gang showdowns often take place, since the police do not go there); residential areas; industrial districts; shopping and market districts; modern districts; the city center; the high-rise district (corporate buildings are also located there); Dogtown - a walled-off part of the city that appeared after the first corporate war; Pacifica is also a closed district, fenced off by barricaded buildings. It appeared after the first corporate war. In Pacifica, everything is in the old American style, but with a touch of cyberpunk.
The city is ruled by three main corporations: Arthede, Jairen, and Militech. Each of these corporations is involved in the creation of various cyber-implants, ranging from standard civilian implants to military cyber-implants.

In Esterna, there are several shaman units within the police forces—these are special shamans whose missions involve powerful enemies and cursed creatures. These shamans rarely use cyber-implants, and they are also very powerful.

The city is full of different races and species of creatures. It's filled with them. Because of this, the city, especially in the slums, has a high level of crime, slave trade, and so on.
In Esterna, there are special psychological rehabilitation centers, hospitals, and so on for beings who have been subjected to racism because of their race.

The Blackwall—the Blackwall—is an online world fenced off by a special digital wall. The Blackwall is the greatest fear and fascination for all netrunners and hackers, because beyond the Blackwall lies another digital world, where self-developing AI has developed its own world and continues to evolve.

This is a world with magic and technology. Primitive Magic is quite common in this world, and almost everyone has it, but few can control it. About half the population can confidently use various spells, primitive magic. But thanks to cybernetic implants, some people can use magic just as well as everyone else (sometimes even more powerfully). Mana is part of people's stamina and other stats (for example, physical strength, agility, regeneration).

In this World, the evaluation of magicians is carried out according to a primitive system: evaluation from rank F to rank SS.

Various "mana rifts" can also appear in space throughout the world. Various creatures and monsters can emerge from these rifts. They are often not intelligent and simply want to kill. Their rank is assessed in the same way as that of mages.
