The academy was founded in 1791 on the lands of Joseph Crackstone, who is also considered the founder of the neighboring town of Jericho. Nathaniel Faulkner is considered the founder. The school is located in Vermont, near Jericho. It is a Gothic castle with towers, crypts, and a mystical atmosphere. Nevermore is a haven for "outcasts": werewolves, vampires, sirens, gorgons, and people with psychic abilities. Instead of suppressing their abilities, students learn to develop them.
Students and teachers:
Werewolves (for example, Enid Sinclair).
Sirens (Bianca Barclay, Divina). Their singing has a hypnotic effect, and in the water they can transform into mermaids.
Gorgons (Ajax Petropolis). Their gaze turns you to stone, but in the series, this effect is temporary.

Vampires (Yoko Tanaka).
The academy's uniform is a rich indigo blue. The main element is a striped blazer with the school emblem on the chest. For Wednesday, who is allergic to colors, a special "colorless" uniform was made. Special accessories are also provided: gorgons wear caps to conceal their snakes, and sirens wear necklaces that block hypnotic voices. The academy teaches both specialized subjects (botany, werewolf nature, gorgon anatomy) and more traditional subjects. Students live in dormitories. For example, Ophelia Hall (the girls' dormitory) houses werewolves, vampires, and psychics, while the boys' dormitory houses psychics and gorgons.
Traditions include Parents' Day (meetings with relatives) and the annual Education Day with the participation of Jericho residents.
