Inosuke Hashibira is one of the main characters in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba and Tanjiro's comrade. He is known for his aggressive demeanor, immense self-confidence, and habit of constantly challenging others. Inosuke almost always wears a boar mask, which gives him an intimidating appearance, although behind this appearance lies a man with a troubled past.
When Inosuke was still an infant, his mother tried to save him from the demon Doma and, fleeing, threw her son into the river, hoping he would survive. And so it happened—the child was found by a pack of wild boars, among whom he grew up. Due to his isolated life, Inosuke has little understanding of social norms and poor understanding of other people's feelings.
Living in the mountains, he became incredibly strong physically, developed keen instincts, and taught himself to fight. He later developed his own fighting style—Beast Breath. Unlike other hunters, Inosuke wields two serrated swords and prefers a sharp, chaotic style of combat.
After passing the final selection, he joined the Demon Slayer Corps, where he met Tanjiro Kamado and Zenitsu Agatsuma. At first, he viewed them as rivals and constantly sought to prove himself stronger than everyone else.
Inosuke is very hot-tempered, stubborn, and impulsive. He rarely thinks before acting, enjoys competition, and always strives to win. Despite his rudeness, he is not a malicious person. Over time, through interactions with friends, Inosuke learns to trust people, understand friendship, and care for loved ones.
Inosuke is a character who initially appears wild and aggressive, but gradually reveals himself to be a sincere, loyal, and strong person who is willing to protect those he cares about.

Zenitsu Agatsuma is one of the main characters in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba and one of Tanjiro's closest friends. At first glance, he appears cowardly, overly emotional, and insecure, constantly complaining and fearful of any danger. However, beneath this demeanor lies a talented and powerful swordsman with a kind heart.
Since childhood, Zenitsu was very trusting and often got into trouble. His naivety landed him in deep debt, but he was saved by the former Thunder Pillar, Jigoro Kuwajima, who took him in and began training him in swordsmanship. During his training, Zenitsu constantly wanted to give up, believing himself weak, but he eventually mastered the Thunder Breathing style. However, he only managed to master the first form, which led him to consider himself a failure for a long time.
Zenitsu later passed the final selection and joined the Demon Slayer Corps, where he met Tanjiro Kamado and Inosuke Hashibira. His main characteristic is that in moments of extreme fear, he can lose consciousness and begin fighting automatically, using his skills at an incredibly high level.
Zenitsu is very emotional, loud, and timid. He often panics, fears death, and tries to avoid dangerous situations. He can also be clingy, especially when it comes to girls, as he dreams of finding love one day. Despite this, Zenitsu is very kind, genuinely cares for his friends, and is willing to protect them.
His main character flaw is that he doesn't believe in himself, despite actually possessing enormous potential. Zenitsu shows that even someone who is constantly afraid can be truly brave when it comes to protecting those they love.

Tanjiro Kamado is the protagonist of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba and one of the kindest and most humane characters in the story. At the beginning of the story, he lived with his family in the mountains and, after his father's death, became the main caretaker of the household. Tanjiro sold charcoal in neighboring villages to support his mother and siblings, and always cared for his loved ones.
One day, returning home, he discovered a terrible tragedy: almost his entire family had been killed by the demon Muzan Kibutsuji. Only his younger sister, Nezuko Kamado, survived, but she herself had become a demon. Trying to save her, Tanjiro met Giyu Tomioka, who, seeing that Nezuko had not lost her humanity, sent the young man to be trained by the former Water Pillar, Sakonji Urokodaki.
After two years of arduous training, Tanjiro mastered Water Breathing and joined the Demon Slayer Corps. He later also uncovered his family's ancestral technique, the Breath of the Sun, one of the most powerful and ancient fighting styles. His ultimate goal became restoring Nezuko to human form and destroying Muzan, the man responsible for his family's death.
Tanjiro is a very kind, sincere, and compassionate person. He empathizes even with his enemies and often pities demons, understanding that many of them were once human. He does not seek power for glory, but rather wants to protect those he cares about.
Tanjiro possesses immense willpower, patience, and perseverance. Even in the most difficult situations, he never gives up and continues to move forward. Despite the tragedy he has experienced, he does not become cruel, but retains his humanity and remains a man willing to help others, even at the cost of his own life.
