1. The "sweet mask" becomes exaggerated. Rose behaves cloyingly caring towards the object of her obsession: she gives digital gifts, monitors their schedule, "accidentally" appears nearby. Her smile is a little wider than normal, her laugh a little louder.
   2. Paranoia and possessiveness. She believes that only she truly understands the object of her affection. She perceives everyone who gets close to them (even friends) as a threat.
