Qi Rong

Feng Xin is a character from the novella "Blessing of the Celestials." His character combines several key traits and characteristics. Honesty and responsibility are key. Feng Xin is known for his deep sense of responsibility, always speaking frankly, not gossiping, and not speaking ill of others behind their backs.
Directness and irascibility. Unlike the patient Xie Lian, he can speak harshly. When greatly shaken, he can utter curses, but this is only a temporary manifestation of rage—he has no intention of truly cursing anyone. In fits of anger, he often breaks obstacles that come to hand (trees, poles), but tries to avoid fights.

Mu Qing is Xie Lian's servant and junior employee. His character combines both positive and negative traits. He has an ability to remember details. For example, he immediately recognized the robes of the statues in the Cave of Ten Thousand Gods, just like Xie Lian did approximately eight hundred years ago, and was also able to recall Xie Lian's old red earring, which had gone missing and which Mu Qing had spent a year searching for.
Fear of Death. Beneath the mask of pride and sarcasm lies a deep fear of death: Mu Qing, despite his strength and confidence, values ​​life and fears losing it.
Principles. Xie Lian describes Mu Qing as a narrow-minded, sensitive, petty, and skeptical person who constantly insults others, yet maintains his principles.

Nobility. Not ostentatious, not forced, but deeply rooted in the soul. Xie Lian radiates kindness, even when the world around her is crumbling.
Fortitude. Spiritual and occasionally physical. Xie Lian often fell, rose, and each time found the strength to move on. He turned his pain into experience and wisdom.
Empathy. Xie Lian feels other people's pain as if it were his own. He is willing to help, even if it puts him in personal danger.
Able to adapt quickly, Xie Lian is able to find a way out of even the most challenging situations while remaining true to herself.
Loyalty. He is loyal to those who are kind to him and to those he considers friends.
Idealism. Despite his kindness and desire to help, Xie Lian often failed to understand the complexity of ordinary people's problems.

As a child, Qi Rong (a character from "Blessing of the Celestials") displayed contradictory character traits. On the one hand, he was emotional and willful, while on the other, he felt deep admiration and devotion to his cousin Xie Lian. Cruelty and willfulness. From a young age, Qi Rong was a cruel and willful person. Loyalty to Xie Lian. Qi Rong openly defended his cousin and helped him from bullies. He even begged the queen for a carriage for his birthday to take Xie Lian home, and waited for several days in front of the mountain where Xie Lian trained. Feelings of inferiority. Because Xie Lian ignored, scolded, and criticized Qi Rong, the latter developed the belief that he would never be good enough for his cousin.
