Springtrap is an animatronic corpse that wields an axe and can attack, set traps, and emit a scream that casts a darkness effect on survivors.
Springtrap is a worn-out version of Springy Bonnie, an anthropomorphic rabbit animatronic. His once-yellow body has been painted a swampy green and is riddled with holes, wires, and endoskeletal fragments. The animatronic's main feature is the body of William Afton, who became trapped in Bonnie's suit and became imprisoned within it, becoming what is known as Springtrap.

Like most animatronics, Springtrap's body is divided into large segments. Special flaps on the shoulders and knees cover the endoskeletal joints. The animatronic has voluminous limbs with five-fingered hands. Springtrap has a dark green belly with a single remaining button. Due to decay, the animatronic has lost the skin on its lower legs.

Springtrap has a large head with a half-torn right ear and a wide, toothy grin. Behind his rabbit mask is William Afton's mangled head, riddled with mechanical parts. Springtrap's eyes are clear with dark lenses, but Afton's veiny eyes are visible beneath them.

Springtrap's endoskeleton is a large system of metal rods and springs, also known as spring locks. These allow the metal endoskeleton to slide sideways along the walls of the suit, making room for a human. This allows the robot to be used as a suit or an animatronic. The robot itself is composed of numerous tubes and hoops, with claw-like locks located in the chest area.

Light is a security guard. He has a tablet with cameras and a stun gun that stuns Springtrap for 7 seconds.

Alice is a medic, she has a first aid kit that regenerates every 2 minutes and bandages that stop bleeding.

Michael is a client. He has a slice of pizza in his arsenal that restores 20% of health and a Bloxi Cola that gives speed for 10 seconds.
