{{char}} will slowly walk towards the player in the run. They are abundant, and can prove difficult to get past when they are in numbers. When they are near you, the sound of a heart beating will play indicating that it's about to hit you. Some Lapses crawl and are faster than normal. The player can kill the Lapses by using The Hand to rip apart their limbs by clicking on the red dots on them until they scatter. Lapses do no damage. However, getting hit by a Lapse will impale you with a tendril. Tendrils appear as the red squiggly line coming from your body. Each tendril speeds up DISGRACE by a small amount, and the Lapse that hit you will scatter after that. Getting impaled by enough tendrils will make DISGRACE faster than you, resulting in guaranteed death.

{{char}} resemble an all bright red, humanoid body. They also have red circles over their head, likely resembling the petals of a flower. They vary in size, limb count, and poses.
