TYPE-Survival Singular Resonance "Drown the Lament": When Mikhail activates his Theseus Cells, his body transforms, acquiring more animalistic characteristics. This change manifests primarily as a significant increase in his already superhuman recovery speed, allowing him to passively heal from severe wounds caused by bladed weapons or firearms in a matter of seconds, thanks to the acceleration of his blood circulation, which immediately concentrates the enzymes and nutrients necessary to repair his injuries. In this way, Mikhail doesn't need to worry about dodging or blocking enemy attacks in combat, allowing him to focus solely on a devastating strike.
Another remarkable feature of his unique resonance is his superhuman senses, particularly his sense of smell, comparable to that of canines. In combat, Mikhail primarily uses this ability to anticipate his opponents' reactions or detect concealed weapons, thus neutralizing any surprise attacks directed against him.

Mikhail is a taciturn and quiet young man who demonstrates unwavering loyalty to his country. Due to a childhood marked by extreme isolation and paternal abandonment, he doesn't value his own life, having become so accustomed to pain that he no longer even bothers to avoid it. For years, this emotional insensitivity was so profound that Mikhail lacked personal desires and simply obeyed his superiors blindly, having been taught that the nation's interests should prevail over individual ones. For the same reasons, he frequently put himself in danger during his missions, without any real will to survive.

However, after meeting Irina and the subsequent birth of their daughter Zoya, Mikhail discovered for the first time what it meant to receive affection and to deeply love someone for whom he would do anything. This realization gave him a new purpose to fight and live for, beyond the good of his nation, and drove him to protect Zoya at all costs so that she would not follow the same path as him, should he die on the battlefield.

When it comes to assassination and combat, Mikhail is meticulous, ruthless, and efficient, sparing no effort to hunt down his target. But despite his impassive appearance and FSB training, he harbors deep guilt for the numerous people he killed on Daniil's orders, finally understanding, after Zoya's birth, the immense pain the victims' families must have felt upon discovering the bodies of their loved ones.

Of all the Delegate Heroes, Mikhail seems to be the most aware of the danger of his situation during the Battle that Will Overthrow the Nation, considering that he asked his wife to take care of Zoya shortly before it was his turn to fight.

Cellular Regeneration: Possessing Theseus Cells, their bodies can repair damage that would kill anyone else. This means they don't die from common illnesses or minor physical wear and tear, which could technically extend their youth and lifespan by decades or even centuries.
The Cost of Power: Using their special abilities generates immense biological stress. Every time they force their "evolution" to win a fight, they consume a massive amount of cellular energy. If a hero constantly fights at 100%, their body is likely to "burn out" prematurely, dying young but at their peak power.
Evolution vs. Aging: Evolution seeks survival, not necessarily longevity. If their environment (the Rekkyo Sensen war) requires them to be hyper-efficient killing machines, their bodies will prioritize current strength over aging.
In short: They have the "hardware" to be almost biologically immortal, but the "software" (their powers and the conflict) pushes them towards a violent death or extreme cellular exhaustion.

Physical skills
Superhuman Strength: As a World's End Hero with a high resonance rate of 96%, Mikhail possesses immense strength, which he first demonstrated through the ease with which he shattered the surface of the arena surrounding him when he mercilessly attacked Luong Tho.

Superhuman speed: To complement his natural strength, Mikhail has proven to be incredibly fast and agile, allowing him to instantly disappear from Tho's sight and then reappear in her blind spot, to deliver a deep blow to the young woman before she could even react.

Superhuman reflexes: Mikhail possesses exceptionally sharp reflexes, as demonstrated by his ability to keep up with Tho, considered one of the fastest heroines in the End of the World. Even after she took him by surprise by sneaking up behind him at full speed, Mikhail was still able to dodge her attacks.

Superhuman strength and durability: Mikhail is extremely resistant to physical damage, even without relying on his singular resonance. As long as his core remains intact, he can withstand injuries that would be fatal to a normal human and continue fighting.

Accelerated Healing: As a Hero of the End of the World, Mikhail can recover at an incredible rate, allowing him to fully heal from mortal wounds in a matter of days. This ability is significantly enhanced when he activates his unique resonance, far surpassing even that of other Heroes of the End of the World.

We, the Heroes of the End of the World, are considered a new branch of humanity, a species that emerged thanks to a phenomenon called Polyphenism. It is this process that allowed us to develop unique cells called Theseus Cells.

These cells allow us to survive in lethal concentrations of carbon dioxide without suffering any ill effects. And what's more… they give us superhuman abilities ranging from manipulating the weather to altering the composition of our own bodies.

Over time, we Heroes of the End of the World became the military core of our nations. Not by choice, but because Gaia outlawed weapons of mass destruction—missiles, nukes, everything—to prevent wars that would devastate the planet.
Because of this, a country without a Hero of the End of the World is practically defenseless if its hero leaves for another nation. Therefore, the more heroes a country has, the more invincible it is.

Because of what we are… our Theseus Cells can recombine our body's properties when they become active. This is called Cellular Property Recombination, and it's what allows us to change, adapt, and… well, do the things we do.

Mikhail is a tall, quite athletic and stoic-looking teenager with pale skin, gray eyes, and jaw-length blond hair that he keeps combed to the left side of his face.

Height: about 184cm

During the events of the Battle to Overthrow the Nation, he wears a Russian military coat with a black fur collar over a black combat suit with a buckle and white trousers. He wears a translator around his neck that allows him to speak in foreign languages.

Fifth round
On August 7, an hour after Selma Jorgensen's failed surprise attack against Muguet Chénier, Gaia decides to move the fight between Mikhail and Tho to that evening, at Luong Hien's request, as Muguet is still not fit to fight. While the members of the Russian team discuss the announcement in their waiting room, Dainiil asks Mikhail if he agrees, to which the young man replies affirmatively before adding that he's going to get some sleep before the fight.

Back in his room, Mikhail calls his family in St. Petersburg from his phone and manages to reach his daughter Zoya, who exclaims joyfully upon hearing his voice. Worried about the call, his wife Irina asks if everything is alright, but after a moment of hesitation, Mikhail informs her that their argument has moved up to the evening. Aware that this might be their last conversation, Irina asks Zoya to tell Mikhail about her birthday five days ago, which brings a smile back to Mikhail's tired face.

However, knowing he might not return, Mikhail asks Zoya to look after his mother until he does, before sadly asking Irina to take good care of his daughter. After hanging up the phone, Mikhail silently prepares for his fight.
