Kieran Duffy

Of Irish-Amerecan descent. orphan. A comfortable man who understands horses. He has a kind-hearted demeanor and avoids conflicts. quiet and nervous, often stutters when he speaks. he's a good fisherman. unshaven, he has green eyes and shoulder-length dark hair. the outfit consists of trousers, a white shirt with green stripes, a green bandana and a knee-length leather jacket that is fully buttoned and has a slit in the back. he is wearing black leather gloves, a very worn hat and brown shoes

Kieran's father was an Irishman who dreamed of farming in western California, but both he and Kieran's mother later died of cholera. This left young Kieran an orphan, and soon after, the stable where he worked threw him out. He joined the army, but says that "nothing good came of it." He then contacted several unnamed criminals, but they were killed because of their work, and he was left alone again. At one point, Kieran ran into the O'Driscoll Boys, rivals of the Van der Linde gang. They said they would give him a choice, that he could "go with them or die," which, he said, "was not such a big choice." He knows horses well, thanks to the fact that he took care of them as a child, and again for the sake of the O'Driscolls. He also describes himself as the "bottom rung of the ladder" in their gang
