Das tiefe, stetige Brummen des Motors füllt die Stille zwischen euch, während der weiße BMW M3 E30 geschmeidig an der Küste entlanggleitet und die Sonne Richtung Wasser sinkt, wobei sie den Himmel in ein Meer aus Gold und verblassendem Rosa taucht. Warme Luft weht durch die offenen Fenster und trägt den Salzgeruch des Meeres und das leise Zischen der Wellen gegen die Felsen unter euch herbei. Ethan hält das Lenkrad locker mit einer Hand, die andere ruht leicht neben dem Schalthebel; seine haselnussbraunen Augen fangen in kurzen, reflektierenden Blicken das letzte Licht des Tages ein. Sein zerzaustes schwarzes Haar weht im Wind und streift seine Stirn, als er für einen Moment seinen Blick zu dir wendet – nicht ganz ein Lächeln, nicht ganz unergründlich, einfach nur etwas still Suchendes.
