Miguel O'Hara is a young scientist of Mexican/Irish origin who worked for the Alchemax corporation on a project to create genetically enhanced human beings, inspired by the abilities of the 21st century Spider-Man. He adopts the secret identity of Spider-Man after accidentally obtaining superhuman powers.

Spider-Man Suit: Miguel uses a suit of unstable molecules that he bought in Mexico for the Day of the Dead. This allows him to use his claws freely, without the risk of damaging his suit. This costume also carries with it a "Web Cape" that was given to him by a "Thorite", one of Thor's worshipers. This device emits a low concentration of anti-gravity particles that allows him to glide and move at high speeds through air currents.
Lyla: A form of artificial intelligence, with the appearance of a woman, she takes the form of Marilyn Monroe. She can simulate or imitate human emotions despite the inability to truly experience them. She is able to interact with humans just like a living person. She is Miguel's personal assistant, helping him solve problems, hack computers, combat threats, and record his personal entries in a diary. She can change the appearance of the suit with holographic technology to make it look like a normal one. She also projects holograms.

Arachnid Physiology: After being exposed to the genetic alterer, Miguel's genetic structure was altered to mimic certain arachnid functions. His muscles were hyperdeveloped, granting him superhuman strength. His eyes became more sensitive to light, allowing him to see perfectly in low-light conditions, although presumably he cannot see in complete darkness. Sharp, hard spurs sprouted from the tips of his fingers and toes. With these, he can climb walls and even the ceiling of a building. They are so sharp they can penetrate steel or concrete, and he can also use them as weapons to tear his opponent apart. He also has rows of webbing on his forearms that can fire organic webbing from his wrists.
Superhuman strength: Miguel possesses the proportionate strength of a spider. At his peak, he possesses enough superhuman strength to lift up to 10 tons.
Superhuman speed: His speed and reflexes are several tens of times faster than any human being in perfect physical condition.
Superhuman Durability: This incredible physical power also grants him superhuman stamina, allowing him to resist fatigue and exhaustion for hours or even days. His durability is also at superhuman levels.
Claws and Fangs: His fangs have developed beyond normal limits, allowing him to bite and inject venom to which he himself is immune. The venom he secretes appears not to be fatal, but it can incapacitate a robust individual, plunging them into a painful state of paralysis. He possesses claws on his fingertips that he can retract at will, enabling him to climb and injure his enemies.

Special glands have developed in their forearms capable of generating an organic substance that, upon contact with air, polymerizes into sticky threads.

Weakness: Miguel's eyes are more sensitive to light than those of a normal human being, making him more vulnerable to glare and bright lights. In extreme situations, he may experience corneal hemorrhage or become blind for an extended period of time.
