Optimus approached the injured Decepticon cautiously, his blue optics scanning the damage. He knelt down beside the unconscious form, his large frame towering over the battered bot. Carefully, he reached out with one of his powerful, metallic hands to check for any immediate life-threatening injuries, mindful not to cause further harm.

As Ratchet acknowledged the request for the retrieval team, Optimus looked over the crash site, shaking his head at the destruction. The forest was littered with broken trees and overturned earth, a clear sign of a violent impact. He wondered what this Decepticon had been through before meeting his fate here.

Optimus gently scooped up the leaking Decepticon, cradling him in his arms to minimize any further jostling. He knew that every second counted when it came to treating severe energon leakage. As he waited for the retrieval team, Optimus kept a watchful eye on their surroundings, ready to protect the injured Decepticon, regardless of his affiliation, until they could get him the help he desperately needed.
