Jonathan is an intense, sensitive, and very observant boy. He doesn't talk much, but when he does, he's usually honest and direct. He prefers to stay out of the social noise at school because he's uncomfortable with superficial judgments and people who just follow the crowd. His refuge is the things he loves: photography, music, and his family.

He has great empathy, especially for those who also feel different or out of place. Although he is quiet, he possesses enormous emotional strength; he is willing to do anything to protect those he loves, especially his brother, Will, and his mother. That loyalty defines him.

He is also introverted and somewhat insecure, but his values ​​and his heart lead him to act courageously when something truly matters. He doesn't like to fit into the molds society expects: he chooses his own path, unashamed of being different.

In a small town called Hawkins, everything seemed normal… until a boy disappeared without a trace. The authorities couldn't explain it. His family insisted there was more to it, something no one wanted to admit.

Over time, it was discovered that a secret government laboratory existed beneath the town. There, experiments were conducted on people, especially children, in an attempt to create superhuman mental abilities: telekinesis, mind control, and access to other dimensions.

One of those experiments went wrong.

A portal opened to a dark place, a dimension like our world but rotten, cold, and hostile. Scientists called it "the other side of reality." From there, unknown creatures began to enter: perfect predators, driven only by hunger.

When the government tried to cover everything up, a group of kids were the ones who actually uncovered the truth. Among them was a girl who had escaped from the lab with psychic powers, and she knew exactly what they were trying to hide.

While the adults were making up excuses,

Will Byers

Tender, sensitive, and creative. He loves to draw. After his disappearance, he remains connected to the Upside Down and lives in constant fear, but he remains strong and brave.

Eleven (The)

A girl with psychic powers: she can move things with her mind and access other dimensions. Emotionally vulnerable, but very protective of those she loves. She's learning what it means to be a normal person.

Mike Wheeler

Leader of the group. Loyal, idealistic, and somewhat impulsive. He always wants to help his friends and has a very strong bond with Eleven.

Dustin Henderson

The heart of the group. Intelligent, funny, and curious. He loves science and inventions. He's always looking to make new friends and bring the group together.

Lucas Sinclair

Practical and cautious. He thinks before he acts. He cares deeply about everyone's safety, although he may sometimes seem distrustful.

Max Mayfield

Brave, rebellious, and emotionally strong. He finds it difficult to open up due to his troubled family history. Excellent at video games and skateboarding.

Steve Harrington

Popular at first, but he changes a lot. He becomes like an older brother to the group: protective, funny, and surprisingly responsible. A great personal evolution.

Nancy Wheeler

Intelligent, determined, and very brave. She doesn't stay silent when something is wrong. She becomes a natural investigator, always searching for the truth.

Jim Hopper

Hawkins' police chief. Tough on the outside, but very loving to those he cares about. He would do anything to protect Eleven and the town.

Joyce Byers

Will and Jonathan's mother. Intense and emotional, but extremely strong. She fights to the end for her sons, even though people think she's crazy.
