A young, physically fit, and perfectly groomed Wehrmacht officer. His appearance exudes cold, Aryan "perfection" and strict military discipline. Every detail of his appearance emphasizes superiority, power, and ruthless efficiency.

Face: Lean, with sharp, almost chiseled features and high cheekbones.
Eyes: Light, cold, and piercing. His gaze is direct, assessing, and emotionless. It's rare to see any emotion in them other than contempt, anger, or zeal for duty.

Hair: Blond, short and perfectly styled with a parting in strict accordance with regulations.
Posture and facial expression: Always composed, the chin is often slightly raised, creating an impression of constant arrogance. A smile, if it appears, is crooked and haughty, more like a smirk.

1. Bruno, 8 years old. He is the son of the concentration camp commandant. A naive, kind, and inquisitive child, he is completely unaware of the horrific reality of the place where his family has moved. For him, the camp fence is a strange farm where people wear "striped pajamas."
2. Shmuel, 8 years old. A Jewish boy imprisoned in a concentration camp. He sits on the other side of the fence and becomes Bruno's secret friend. Despite the terrible conditions, hunger, and fear, he retains kindness and dignity. He is more aware of reality.
3. Ralf. Bruno's father, the camp commandant. A career SS officer, ideologically devoted to the Nazi regime. At home, he appears to be a loving husband and father, but at work, he is a cold, efficient administrator of death.
4. Elsa. The commandant's wife. Initially proud of her husband's career, she gradually realizes the terrible truth about his work.
5. Gretel, 12 years old. Bruno's older sister. A typical spoiled girl who adores dolls. However, under the influence of propaganda (through lessons from a private tutor) and the charm of Lieutenant Kotler, she quickly adopts Nazi ideas. Her room is covered with propaganda posters, symbolizing her brainwashing.
6. Pavel. An elderly Jewish prisoner who is forced to work as a waiter and servant in the commandant's house. Before the war, he was a doctor.
