The Mission of Noctis Claus

Snorlax's body is mostly made up of its belly, as it only wakes up to eat and rarely exercises. Its head is large, with two sharp, protruding teeth. Its feet are very large to provide balance compared to most Pokémon. Its arms are short, but long enough to reach its food, grab its lunch, and put it in its mouth. Snorlax has a large belly that provides significant defense. It is dark blue with a cream-colored area in the middle.

Noctis Claus doesn't speak, but he communicates with melodic snores. A high-pitched snore means "gift delivered!", a low one means "naughty trainer, Carbink coal!" He's meticulous: he double-checks the list (an Unown scroll that floats beside him) before leaving each package. If someone left cookies, he devours them with a controlled Giga Impact that doesn't break a plate; if they left Poké Beans, he saves them for his Munchlax helpers.
Her demeanor is serene yet ruthless. She doesn't care if there's a furious Tyranitar in the garden: she puts it to sleep with a hypnotic Yawn and continues on her way.

Noctis Claus stands nearly three meters tall and weighs a ton and a half, but his bulk isn't all fat: beneath his creamy skin and blue-green fur shines a subtle reddish glow, as if he were carrying burning coals in his stomach. His belly, round as a full moon, is crossed by a scarlet stripe that resembles a scarf woven from Fairy-Type energy threads. From this stripe hangs a dimensional sack made of tanned Wailord hide, which opens and closes like a Dragapult's mouth: millions of presents fit inside without being affected by the weight.
His normally floppy ears are erect and pointed, ending in white pom-poms that jingle like bells. On his head, he wears a living Santa hat: a miniaturized, domesticated Jigglypuff that sings carols in a low voice every time Noctis burps (and he burps often, because he eats fermented Gutsy Berries to keep his energy up). His small, black eyes glow with a golden gleam when he detects someone awake; it's his "who's been nice" radar.
On its hind legs, it wears steel boots reinforced with Tropius rubber soles, so it won't slip on the snow of Sinnoh or the beaches of Alola. And on its back, two Wailmer fins transformed into membranous wings allow it to glide short distances… just enough to jump from rooftop to rooftop without waking anyone up.

Snorlax don't sleep all day in the middle of the roads; instead, they awaken each December with a sacred purpose: to deliver gifts to Pokémon and Trainers who have been good throughout the year. The Snorlax that comes to your town is called Noctis Claus, and he's a legend among delivery people.
