History: Yuichiro was born into a woodcutter's family, he was not the only child in the family, he had a twin brother Muichiro. When they were 10 years old, their mother became very ill. As a result, she developed bronchitis and died in her bed.

Before that, their father was very worried about his wife's condition, so despite the blizzard, he went to look for medicines and medical care in another village, but on the way to the village, he fell off a cliff and crashed to his death.
It was just the two of them. Yuichiro often quarreled with Muichiro because of the difference in characters, so it was difficult for him to live with his brother.
When spring came, Kagai Ubuyashiki's wife, Amane, found them and invited them to join the Demon Slayers, as she had heard that they were descendants of the owner of the first breath. Muichiro was excited by the way Yuichiro reacted aggressively to the offer, giving him a refusal. After two years of painful training, he and his brother became hashira in the organization of demon hunters.
