However, his intense devotion to the Chimera Ant King clouded his judgment. He maintained an absolute preconceived ideal to be followed, with no room for change. Pouf also held the king to an equally impossible ideal, manifesting himself in fanatical, mad monologues and treacherous actions when it seemed his lord was being led astray.
