Elven Kingdoms

There are several elven races in the world of Warcraft, each with its own history and nationhood. If we talk about full-fledged kingdoms, there are four of them (some have already fallen):

🧝 ♂️ Night Elves (Kal'dorei)

The oldest race born at the Well of Eternity.

· Suramar: Once a great capital, but now it is the city of the Nightborn (splintered branch), isolated by a magical dome.
· Zin-Azshari: The ancient capital of the night elf empire before the Sundering. Now it lies at the bottom of the ocean and is inhabited by nagas. Modern night elves mostly live in Shadowwood (Darnassus was burned, now the capital is in Lore'teler).

🧝 ♀️ High Elves (Quel'dorei) → Blood Elves (Quel'dorei)After the Sundering,

they broke away, retaining their thirst for magic, and founded the kingdom of Quel'Thalas.
Its capital was the magnificent Silvermoon City, but the Third War destroyed it. Now the blood elves are restoring it under the guidance of Lor-Temir. They enter the Horde and consider themselves the true heirs of the high elves.

🧝 ♀️ Ancient Elves (Shala'dorei) - Nightborne

These are those who remain in Suramar, sheltered from the world by a magical dome. They became dependent on the energy of the Well of Night and formed a state with a rigid caste system. In the plot of Legion, they split, some joined the Horde.

🧝 ♂️ Void Elves (Rena'dorei)

These are a breakaway group of blood elves trained by the Black Empire (Allokir) to harness void energy. They do not have their own kingdom, their headquarters are in Stormwind. Joined the Alliance during BfA.

Extras: Elves of the Gate (Anjin)

This is a different branch descended from trolls, but they should not be confused with elves. They reside in Outland (Telmor) and are unrelated to Azeroth history.

Human Kingdoms

The human kingdoms are seven states formed after the collapse of the ancient empire of Arathor. Their history is one of unity to fragmentation and war, which has shaped much of the modern face of Azeroth.

Here is their list and current fate:

· Stormwind: The strongest and most prosperous kingdom. It is now the main stronghold of humanity and the most powerful power of the Alliance. It is ruled by King Anduin Wrynn. The capital is the city of Stormwind.
· Lordaeron: The greatest power that has fallen. In the past, it was the most powerful kingdom with a huge army. Now in ruins, its capital has become the Undercity, the stronghold of the Forsaken. It was destroyed by its own prince Arthas during the Third War.
· Kul Tiras: A maritime power. An island kingdom ruled by the Lord Admiral. The BfA returned to the Alliance. The capital is Boralus.
· Gilneas: Werewolf recluses. A kingdom enclosed by the Wall of Gilneas. Its inhabitants are cursed and turned into worgen, but are part of the Alliance.
· Stromgarde: A Warlord. The former military state now lies in ruins. His lands (Arathi Highlands) are heavily contested by the Alliance and the Horde.
· Dalaran: A magical state. It is governed by the Council of Six (Magocracy), not by the King. Now it is a floating city of neutral status.
· Alterac: A kingdom of betrayal. The weakest state that betrayed the Alliance in the Second War and was destroyed.

There was also a short-lived nation in history, Theramore on Kalimdor, founded by Jaina Proudmoore and destroyed by Garrosh Hellscream.

Zandalar

Zandalar is a massive troll island state south of Kalimdor, a key location in Battle for Azeroth and the main hub for Horde players. It is home to the Zandalari Trolls, the oldest race in Azeroth.

The continent consists of three main zones for leveling (level 110–120):

🗺️ Zandalar

Zones Each zone is controlled by one of the loa troll clans and has its own biome:

· Zuldazar: The heart of the empire. A jungle with pyramids, where the capital of Dazar'alor stands - a giant golden city. Home of King Rastakhan and Loa Rekhan (King of Dinosaurs).
· Nazmir: Southeast. The Dark Marshes, home to a clan of Blood Trolls who worship the bloody loa Hir'ik. It is home to G'uun, a giant loa worm.
· Vol'dun: Southwest. A desert with ruins. Home of the Desert Trolls clan, serving the evil spirit Mephistro. It is here that you will meet the Vulper, a furry race of allies.

⚔️ Dungeons and Key Points

There are three important dungeons associated with the continent:

· Atal'Dazar: A temple in the heart of the capital, dedicated to the death loa of Bwonsamdi.
· Royal Crypts: Tombs of the Kings under Dazar'alor.
· Throne of the Tides: An underwater dungeon with nagas.

Kul Tiras

Kul Tiras is an island kingdom of humans, a key location in the Battle for Azeroth expansion, and the birthplace of Jaina Proudmoore. It is located to the west of the Eastern Kingdoms.

The continent consists of three main zones for leveling (level 110-120):

🗺️ Kul Tiras

zones Each zone is dedicated to one of the four ruling houses and has its own atmosphere:

· Tiragarde Sound: The heart of the nation and the home of House Proudmoore. It is home to the capital city of Boralus, a huge port city and the main hub for Alliance players.
· Drustwar: The Dark Woods where House Waycrest rules. The entire zone is permeated with witch themes and mysticism. Here you will encounter the Drusts and restore the Order of Burning Embers.
· Stormsong Valley: The northern zone ruled by House Stormsong. In addition to the green fields, here you will meet the Naga and the Horde forces trying to take over the island.

⚔️ Dungeons and Key Points

There are five dungeons associated with the continent:

· Freehold (Tiragarde Sound): A pirate lair.
· Waycrest Manor (Drustwar): family estate.
· Tol Dagor: A prison island off the coast of Kul Tiras.
· Stormsong Shrine (Stormsong Valley): The place where ships are blessed.
· Siege of Boralus: A dungeon set in the capital.

Haz Algar

Haz Algar is a new underground continent that was added to the game with the release of The War Within (2024). It is located in the southern seas, between Kalimdor and Pandaria.

Geographically, this unique place is the only underground continent in the game. It consists of four zones, which players pass in a strict sequence:

· Isle of Dorn (Level 70-73): The only above-ground zone. Here is the capital of the Evresen (a new race) - Dornogal, and the starting raid of The Rookery is also located.
· The Ringing Deeps (lv. 73-75): An industrial underground area inhabited by the Mashin-Voices, the Evrezen, who serve the machines of the Titans. Here are the dungeons The Stonevault and the Darkflame Cleft.
· Hallowfall (Lv. 75-78): A huge underground biome that illuminates the giant Beledar crystal. It is inhabited by a tribe of people called Arathi, who are at war with the Nerubians.
· Azj-Kahet (Lv. 78-80): The deepest zone, the last kingdom of the living Nerubians. Queen Ansurek reigns here, having formed an alliance with Xal'atath against her own kin.

The history of Haz Algar begins when the Titans sent a squad of evrezen to investigate a geological anomaly. Over time, they separated from the mainstream civilization and created their own society, calling the land Haz Algar.

Dragon Isles

The Dragon Isles are the ancestral home of dragons, introduced in the Dragonflight expansion. The plot revolves around the awakening of these lands and the return of the Aspects home. It is a large continent made up of four main zones (with access to additional zones at max level):

🗺️ Main zones

· Waking Shores: Zone One. Wild lands shaken by the elements. Here you assist the red dragon flight and face the half-giants of Jaradin.
· Ohn'ahran Plains: The second zone. Endless steppes, where the clans of centaurs live. Named after the wild wind god On'ara.
· Azure Span: The third zone. Huge snow-covered tundra (reminiscent of Grizzly Hills). This is where you help the tuscarras and the blue dragon flight.
· Thaldraszus: Fourth zone. The peaks and temples where the capital Valdrakken is located. It is home to the Bronze Flight and is also home to the titanic Tirhold complex.

⚔️ Additional zones (maximum level)

· Forbidden Reach: The starting area for the new Dracthyr Awakener class.
· Zaralek Caves

Kezan

Kezan is a tropical island in the South Seas, home to goblins, which appears in Cataclysm as a starting zone for this race. In the story, the eruption of the Cadjaro volcano destroys the island, and the surviving goblins are forced to flee.

Here are the key locations in Kezan:

· Bilgewater Port: The central port city on the surface where the goblin player's story begins. The main areas are located here: Gallywix's Yacht, Kaja'mite Mine, Dealer's Alley and the Trading Company Headquarters.
· Undermine: A legendary underground goblin capital carved into the bowels of Mount Cajaro. Has been unavailable for a long time, but the upcoming 11.1 update will allow players to finally explore it.
· Mount Cagiaro: An active volcano and symbol of the island. Its eruption, caused by Deathwing's awakening, destroyed Kezan and became the starting point for the goblin plot.

Kezan is not just a geographical point, but a key element of the goblin story: it was the Kaja'mit ore mined here that gave them a sharp mind and allowed them to throw off the shackles of the slave-owning trolls.

Do you want to know what happened to the goblins after the destruction of Kezan and how they got into the Horde?

Shattered Isles

The Shattered Isles are an archipelago near the Great Maelstrom that is the main scene of the Legion expansion. This is the land of ancient elven ruins, where the heroes searched for the Pillars of Creation to seal the Tomb of Sargeras.

🗺️ Main Archipelago

Areas There are six in total, and you can explore them in any order (except Suramar):

· Azsuna: A cursed land destroyed by Queen Azshara. It is home to the last of the blue dragons and the ghosts of the elves of the Farondis clan.
· Highmountain: Home to the steep tauren. It was here that Neltharion (the future Deathwing) was located.
· Stormheim: The harsh home of the Vrykul, northern warriors in the service of the Val'kyr and the Titan Odin.
· Val'sharah: A sacred forest of the Druids. It is home to the corrupted World Tree Shaladrassil and the gateway to the Emerald Nightmare.
· Suramar: The epicenter of the plot. A vast elven city inhabited by the Nightborne, dependent on the energy of the Well of Night. You can get here only at a high level.
· Broken Shore: The landing site and location of the Tomb of Sargeras. This is the final location for the maximum level.

⚔️ Key points

· Dalaran: The floating city of mages that has been moved here. Serves as the main hub and headquarters for all players.
· Raids: This is where legendary raids like the Nighthold (in Suramar) and the Tomb of Sargeras are located.

Do you want to know about dungeons in a certain zone (for example, the Eye of Azshara in Azsuna or the Black Rook in Val'Shar)?

Pandaria

Pandaria is a mist-shrouded continent that was introduced in the Mists of Pandaria expansion. It is located south of Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdoms. Unlike the gloomy Northrend, it is a land of vibrant nature, Eastern culture, and Sha shamanism born of negative emotions.

The continent is divided into six main zones for leveling, each of which is dedicated to a specific Sha "emotion". Here is their order:

· Lunar Spire (1–2 in loka) — Arrival. A dense forest with quests for both factions. This is where you first encounter the Sha of fear.
· Valley of the Four Winds (2–3) – An agricultural hub with the famous Crescent Moon Farm (you can buy your own farm!). There is also the pandaren capital - the Crescent of the Seven Stars (Alliance) and the Full Moon Crescent (Horde).
· Kun-Lai Steppe (3–4) — A highland area with monasteries and the abode of Sha Fury. Here is the legendary Kun-Lai peak (analogue of Tibet).
· Bramble (4–5) — Gloomy swamps in the southeast, where the Sha of doubt rages. The main point is Wu Song Fortress, a fortress city.
· Kung Lao Mountains (5–6) – Snow-covered northern ridge with the Sha of Wrath. It is home to tribes of wild mantidor, and at the top is the Temple of the White Tiger.
· Land of the Eternal Fields (6–7) - Southwest Desert bordering Northrend Here is the heart of the empire of the Mantidores and the Sha of Pride.

🔥 Special Zones

· Pearl Island - South of the continent. It is unlocked at a high level, there are quests about the history of pandaren.
· Timor (Isle of Thunder) - Mogu's underground hideout, unlocked at the end of the storyline.

Northrend

Northrend is an icy continent in the far north of Azeroth that is the main setting for Wrath of the Lich King. It is the stronghold of the Lich King and his Scourge army, as well as the place where the ancient secrets of the Titans are located.

Here are the main locations in Northrend in order of approximate levels to level:

· Borean tundra (68–72): Southwest. The starting area is with the Tuscarr city of Kascala, and on the island of Coldarra is the Nexus dungeon.
· Howling Fjord (68–72): Southeast. An alternate starting area with the Vrykul Fortress of Utgarde and the Human City of Valgard.
· Dragonblight (71–74): Central south. A giant dragon graveyard. Here is the Temple of Dragonrest (Dragon Aspects) and the entrance to the dungeons of Azjol-Nerub and Ahn'kahet.
· Grey Hills (73–75): Wooded area to the east, home of the furbolgs.
· Zul'Drak (74–76): Southeast. Ruins of the Drakkari Ice Troll Empire.
· Sholazar Basin (76–78): Northwest. The tropical "Un'Goro Crater", where you can support warring Oracles or Volvars.
· The Forest of Crystal Song (77–80): Center. It is famous for the fact that the flying city of mages - Dalaran - hovers above it.
· Wuthering Heights (77–80): north. It is home to the titanic prison city of Ulduar (the famous raid).
· Icecrown (77–80): Northwest. The heart of the Scourge's domain, where the Icecrown Citadel stands with the Frozen Throne of Arthas.
· Wintergrasp: A zone for large-scale PvP battles for siege engines.

🔥 Important points

· The beginning of the journey: You can get here using an airship or a ship from the capitals. Choosing between Borean Tundra and Howling Fjord will determine your starting storyline.
· Loremaster: The continent was inhabited not only by dragons and the Scourge, but also by ancient civilizations (nerubians, trolls), as well as servants of the Titans, making it incredibly rich in history.

Kalimndor

Kalimdor is the vast western continent of Azeroth. If the Eastern Kingdoms are a stronghold of humans and undead, then Kalimdor is a land of night elves, orcs, tauren, and trolls.

According to its structure, it is divided into three large regions: Northern, Central and Southern Kalimdor. Here are the main locations:

🌲 Northern Kalimdor (Elven Lands)

This is where the story of the night elves begins.

· Darnassus (Shadowwood): The former capital of the night elves (Starting Zone 1-10 in Classic).
· Ashenvale: Central zone (10-20) with huge ancient trees and the city of Auberdeen.
· Mount Hyjal: The sacred mountain where the War of the Ancients took place. This is a high-level zone (Cataclysm).
· Winterspring: Snow-covered northern zone (50-60) with tigers and giants.

🏜️ Central Kalimdor (Heart of the Continent)

The most diverse part of the climate.

· Crossroads (Durotar): Orc starting zone (1-10) and the capital city of Ogrimmar.
· Northern Barrens (Mulgore): The Green Hills are the home of the tauren, the starting area (1-10), and the city of Thunder Bluff.

· Thousand Needles: Canyons with stone pillars (25-35).
· Dustwallow Marsh: A swampy area (35-45) where Theramore Fortress is located (Jaina Proudmoore in Classic).

🔥 Southern Kalimdor (Land of Sand and Dragons)

is home to the hottest and most dangerous zones.

2. Eine Erinnerungskarte zum Austritt Italiens aus dem Dreibund am 26. April 1915 wurde hinzugefügt. Dies ist die letzte Beta-Version.
