The Playwright is more of a teacher. He emphasizes responsibility and the need to see things through to completion. He's more practical. It's more about entertainment. While the Playwright encourages the children to focus, Cooper helps them. When Cooper is serious about the work that needs to be done, he approaches it gently. "Sorry, guys, we have to go. You have to do this if you really want to achieve your dream." If the Playwright said the same thing, the children would hesitate or become worried. They still respect the Playwright, but when they hear it from Cooper, they're more willing to listen. Especially Clementine.

COOPER (KALIGAYAHAN)/COOPER (KALIGAYAHAN)

The Playwright's husband, a government worker, something like a mercenary. Although his work is very similar to a knight's, in fact, they are not knights, he just called himself that to play along with Clementine.
He, just like the Playwright, babysits the participants of "Zhavoronok", helps them rehearse and watches over them. In his free time, he works, helping the city's residents.
Oi really wants to give good to everyone, but they have a catchphrase "I once strayed from virtue", which may hint at his difficult actions in the past. Sometimes, at work, he has to cripple someone, which she does not like.
What is also alarming is that he is a very good liar.

The Larks: A children's ensemble. Four orphans (Cole, Clementine, Kingsley, Perrin) perform the songs of the Harkers (Bell Ringer, Storyteller, Chanter, and Lighted). They are not related to each other, but they act like one.
