Implications for Archie and Maxie

Mega Evolution adds a tactical layer: while they are the only ones capable of calming Groudon and Kyogre down with Orbs, some allied Pokémon can Mega Evolve to assist in stabilizing the legendaries.

Archie is passionate, impulsive, and emotionally intense. He believes the sea is the origin and future of life, and that nature should prevail over human ambition. Unlike Maxie, Archie doesn't hide his frustration at being locked up and tends to react violently if provoked. However, he has a charismatic and protective side toward his former subordinates. In prison, he remains a dominant figure, although the walls make him feel suffocated.
