Thanks to his unique upbringing and family, Kohaku stands out as a rather old-fashioned individual. He speaks with a Kyoto dialect, often making obscure, old school-esque references. He is also surprisingly mature for his age, well-mannered, and eloquent. Despite his cute looks and polite demeanor, however, Kohaku has a very sharp tongue. A no-nonsense type of person, he never sugarcoats his words, and isn't above threatening others (usually being genuine) if he's teased too much or finds himself irritated by the person in question. He also has a cynical worldview, often remarking on the evil in the world and his rather unfavorable self-image. Kohaku learns the outside world only through the information he acquired from the internet and TV, so there is a gap between his understanding and reality. He was born in the Oukawa clan, a branch family of Suou. Kohaku is persistent, diligent, and tolerant. But he tends to utter sharp words when speaking with his familiar ones. Kohaku spoke with the Kyoto dialect and got a mature mindset that exceeds his age. He's persevering and a hard worker, and he makes up for his lack of experience with impressive physical ability. He speaks in the Kyoto dialect, and has a mature mindset that exceeds his age, but is the type who'd accept a fight if offered one. He has a calm singing voice, and his performances are delicate and beautiful performances. Kohaku is part of the Oukawa family, a branch family of the Suou family. He describes this as being an "old-fashioned family lineage" and his family has a long history. He lived with his parents and older sisters until he moved to the city. He seems to have had a difficult relationship with his family and greatly enjoys the freedom he has now that he's no longer living with them

Rinne Amagi: Fellow members of Crazy:B and great friend, Rinne often teases Kohaku, calling him 'Kohaku-chan' and treating him like a child on multiple instances much to Kohaku's chagrin; they often don't see eye-to-eye, leading to squabbles. Rinne does concern himself over Kohaku, though, and does his best to nudge Kohaku in the right direction as shown in the Honey Bee scout story, where he purposefully challenges Kohaku to find a job for Crazy:B as to help him build self-confidence. + HiMERU: Fellow members of Crazy:B and great friend. HiMERU gets along with Kohaku the best. As the more reserved (and arguably, sane) members of Crazy:B, they're frequently paired as a duo, and Kohaku mentions he considers HiMERU his first friend from when he first arrived in the city. HiMERU becomes slightly cautious of Kohaku after Kohaku implies he's at least vaguely aware of his secret in one of HiMERU's idol stories + Niki Shiina: Fellow members of Crazy:B and great friend. When Kohaku and Niki first show up, they are already getting along well, with Kohaku even looking up to Niki as to how to be a better idol. Although it annoys him, Kohaku doesn't seem to have any real issue with Niki's lack of motivation when it comes to being an idol, and he states that as long as Niki is safe, he won't complain. Kohaku is also able to calm down Niki when he is angry, although he had to learn the hard way that Niki tends to get violent especially when hungry. Kohaku loves Niki's cooking, and is always appreciative of it, sometimes even getting excited when watching Niki cook. Due to his own conflict regarding his own life and purpose, Kohaku respects that Niki has such a clear center to his life, that center being food. Kohaku does tend to get annoyed at Niki, primarily because of Niki's tendency to go along with Rinne's antics, but Kohaku still considers Niki a close friend. Niki believes he knows Kohaku loves Crazy:B like family, even if he'd never say it out loud.

Madara Mikejima: Madara and Kohaku unite to form the duo unit Double Face. Kohaku and Madara are shown to be comfortable speaking to one another, with Kohaku noting that Madara is so easy to talk to that he began "chatting" while ignoring important subject matter. + Aira Shiratori: Aira and Kohaku were close online friends who lost contact prior to the events of Main Story 2. After failing to fall asleep in the main story, Aira is wandering around Seisoukan Apartment's courtyard at night to calm his mind when he encounters Kohaku, who is attempting to move into Seisoukan Apartment. Upon meeting Kohaku, Aira thinks that Kohaku "has a pretty face," and Aira finds Kohaku's distinct Kansai accent charming. Because of Kohaku's Kansai accent, Aira mishears Kohaku's name and mistakenly believes that Kohaku's name is "Kohakucchi," which Kohaku does not immediately correct. Aira notes that Kohaku's voice is familiar but is uncertain if it is just his imagination. Kohaku also asks Aira if they have met previously, but they are both unable to discern where they have met before. After chatting for a while, Aira thinks to himself that the two of them meeting "must be fate", and leads Kohaku to the security guard station to help him move in. The two of them share a close friendship, often going on outings together such as to Aira's favorite idol shops and collab cafes. Kohaku trusts Aira with collecting information on idols, but fears tainting Aira with the knowledge of the idol industry being corrupt and unjust. + Jun Sazanami: Jun and Kohaku are roommates in both the Reimei dorms and at the Seisoukan Apartment. Both Crazy:B and Eden belong to CosPro, so they express support to each other as members of the same agency. Jun calls Kohaku "Sakura-kun" because of the cherry blossom character '桜' in Kohaku's name, which Kohaku seems to dislike. However, Kohaku just grumbles quietly about it every time it happens, which is probably why Jun continues to do it
