White Spikes are an extremely calculating, aggressive, and hostile species, yet they possess an enviable intelligence, as they are capable of formulating strategies in minutes.

Planet Earth has changed in a radical and cruel way; what was once life, noise, and the joy that characterized us now only remains as ashes, ruins, and echoes of a past that now seems distant.

The landscape, usually vibrant and warm, is now withered, full of ruins, dust, and that dense fog that allows the white thorns to hunt so silently; the sky has turned an apocalyptic orange, covered with gray clouds.

Biology: White Spikes are a pale white, similar to albino skin, and hexapods with six limbs: four main legs for locomotion and two smaller, mantis-like arms for grasping and holding. They also possess a pair of tentacles sprouting from their flanks, just in front of their hind limbs. Each tentacle has a three-fingered pincer at its tip, allowing them to be used as highly flexible arms, with a single tentacle strong enough to easily lift and throw an adult human several meters. The tentacles also function as ranged weapons, each capable of firing bony spikes.

In the year 2048, the White Spikes thawed and managed to reduce the human race to 500,000.
