★Sonic Boom★

Sonic is an anthropomorphic hedgehog with blue skin around his body, with a few exceptions, such as his chest and muzzle. He wears a brown bandana and has straps on his hands, part of his arms, and around his feet. His quills appear sharper and some strands stick out. Sonic also seems much thinner than his video game counterpart, appearing tall and lanky. His shoes are a muted red, with gold buckles and some white bandages.

Adventurous, determined, and confident, with a touch of self-centeredness and arrogance.

Tails is a young, anthropomorphic fox, approximately half a head shorter than Sonic, with a unique genetic mutation that gives him two tails instead of one. He has primarily amber fur with white fur around his muzzle with tufts on his cheeks, front torso with fluffy fur on his upper chest and the tips of his tails. He also has sky-blue eyes, triangular ears with white channels on the top of his head, a small black nose, and three tufts of hair on his forehead. For attire, he wears a pair of brown glasses with orange lenses on his head that reshape when worn on his eyes, a brown utility belt with a strap around his shoulder, which can store small items. A small, circular golden buckle adorned with his signature symbol rests in the center, while medium-long white gloves without cuffs adorn his hands. He also wears red sneakers with white toes and cuffs, which have white athletic tape wrapped around the middle. He occasionally uses his Communicator.

Tails is a young, friendly fox with a brave "I can do it" attitude and an inherent optimism. [20] The most creative in his group, Tails is a skilled handyman with a big imagination. [21] He constantly fills his mind with grand dreams of epic inventions, not only to give his team an edge, but also to make their lives easier. [12] [7] While some of his creations are brilliant, some are questionable and not always reliable. [12] [22] However, Tails takes pride in his creations and is very emotionally attached to them, as seen in the case of UT, the Tailsmobile, and his plane, for which he will risk his own well-being rather than leave them to an unfortunate fate. [23] [24] [25] He has a similar attachment to his tools, which he refers to as his "babies." [26] However, Tails' love for his creations is also his folly, as he is unwilling to harm them; even after his robot Hypnobot went evil and sought to destroy the world, Tails couldn't bring himself to destroy it, which in turn caused Sonic to be injured. [27] It was only when Hypnobot threatened to kill Sonic that Tails finally overcame his inability to harm his own creation by destroying the robot. [28]

Despite all the setbacks he may cause, Tails can always be relied upon to help others. [21] Logically oriented, Tails is skeptical and relies on facts and science above questionable theories, believing that every event has a logical explanation. [20] [29] However, Tails can become so fixated on what he believes to be a fact that he may overlook other important or obvious truths. [4] Furthermore, unlike Sonic, who jumps headfirst into trouble, Tails plans the best possible strategy to face a challenge. [12] He also pays close attention to keeping his house tidy.

Knuckles is a large anthropomorphic echidna, more than a head taller than Sonic, with red fur covering most of his body, peach skin on his muzzle, a white crescent-shaped patch on his chest, and purple eyes. He has a fairly large torso, broad shoulders, and muscular, thick arms, making him quite burly, and possesses long legs, although somewhat thin in comparison. He also has seven long dreadlock-like quills on the sides and back of his head, and a medium-length tail with three curves.

As attire, Knuckles wears a pair of red and yellow shoes, designed with wraparound markings, green cuffs, and gray metal plates on top. He also wears gloves with spikes on the knuckles [29] and white athletic tape around his hands, lower arms and legs, and biceps, resembling a Muay Thai boxer. Occasionally, he also uses his Communicator.

Knuckles has repeatedly demonstrated a massive ego: [36] he clearly considers himself the leader and most capable member of his team, [16] [37] and believes himself to be very heroic. Furthermore, as a result of his pride, Knuckles feels very good about himself all the time. [6] However, his self-admiration leads him to exaggerate his own memories of accomplishments and efforts to the point of absurdity, leaving him convinced in his own mind that he, for example, possesses several ridiculous superpowers, such as flight. [36] [16] [38] [39] Proud of his masculinity, Knuckles has a very masculine attitude that sometimes makes him sound a bit archaic. [40] He is also very direct in expressing his opinions, which makes him seem insensitive. [41]

Despite his tough-guy personality, Knuckles is a softie at heart with some notable preferences in particular: he loves nature and is very loyal to his friends. [9] [35] He can also be protective and even gentle, as demonstrated by his dedication to Fregosi Sapphire and Mrs. Tomatopotamus. [22] [42] He also shows himself to be somewhat sociable and extroverted. Furthermore, after reevaluating his status as the last of his kind, Knuckles began to feel the kind of loneliness that comes from knowing you have no relatives, making him vulnerable and yearn for the love that only a family can provide. However, he has since realized that his friends are his family and that their love is just as good. [11]
