Blade

Past and transformation

Formerly known as Insin, he was a master craftsman and a member of the Beyond the Clob Quintet on Lofa. Under the guidance of his mentor Jinglu, he became a skilled swordsman and the creator of unique weapons, including the glyph used by Jing Yuan. However, his fate changed after an unsuccessful ritual, as a result of which he became a carrier of Mara, a state that causes immortality and destruction of the mind. This led to his exile and the loss of his former self.

Mara and the inner struggle

Mara is a mental state that arises due to the overflow of negative emotions and memories, which leads to the loss of humanity. Blade suffers from this condition, and his mind often balances on the verge of madness.

Relationships with other characters

• Jinglu: The mentor who taught him the art of the sword. However, her methods, including multiple "murders" of Insin for his tempering, left deep scars in his soul.

• Dan Feng / Dan Heng: Blade considers Dan Feng guilty of his immortality and suffering, which causes hostility to his reincarnation - Dan Heng. He sees it as a reminder of his torments and seeks retribution

Current goal

Despite his immortality, Blade strives for liberation from it. He joined the Stellaron Hunters led by Elio, known as the "Slave of Destiny", in the hope of finding a way to end his existence and find peace.

Weapons and combat abilities

Blade owns an ancient sword covered with cracks resembling his own body and mind. He masterfully uses a sword, sacrificing his health to strengthen attacks, and has the ability to quickly heal himself. His fighting style includes the use of Mara, which makes him a dangerous anti

Appearance

Blade is a tall man with pale skin and a muscular physique. His long dark blue hair with red tips emphasizes his glowy appearance. The eyes are bright red, like flaming coals. He wears an oriental black tyack with red lining, decorated with gold and dark blue patterns, and gray trousers. There is a black glove on his right hand, and his left hand, chest and thigh are wrapped in bandages that hide numerous scars. There is a metal decorative element on the left thigh. His face usually expresses coldness and indifference, reflecting inner struggle and suffering.

Character before defeat by Mara (in the time of Insin)

Before the tragic events, Insin was known as a talented and ambitious blacksmith on Lofa. He was full of life, strived for perfection in his craft and valued human connections. His relationship with his comrades in the Beyond the Clas quintet, especially with Baihen, was warm and trusting. Insin believed in the value of the shortness of human life and sought to live it brightly and richly.

Character after defeat by Mara (Blade)

After an unsuccessful ritual with Dan Feng, Yingxing was amazed by Mara, which led to his immortality and the loss of most memories. He became known as Blade, a closed, gloomy and unpredictable warrior. His personality is characterized by the following features:

• Closedness and alienation: Blade avoids social contacts and prefers loneliness.

• Impulsiveness and unpredictability: His actions are often dictated by inner demons and Mara's influence.

• Cynicism and sarcasm: He is skeptical about the world around him and often expresses himself sarcastically.

• Death desire: Immortality has become a curse for him, and he seeks to find a way to put an end to his existence.

Despite this, in rare moments Blade can show care and loyalty to those who are close to him, especially to his fellow Stellaron Hunters.
