Mohammed Avdul

Abdul is a fairly tall man of average build (similar in build to Joseph Joestar). He is Egyptian by nationality, and has dark skin accordingly.

His outfit consists of a long robe with sleeves up to the elbows and a scarf. His face is covered with two wave-shaped scars crossing his cheeks from his eyes down, the same on both sides. On his head he wears a bandana, above which his hair peeks out, which is braided into pigtails (in appearance resembling cylinders), looking upward. Attached to his ears is a metal necklace with several symbols painted on it, and in the middle of the necklace hangs a red tassel. On both of his wrists are large metal bracelets.

Abdul is a serious, responsible, and generally righteous individual. Accordingly, he is very interested in maintaining his "image" as a mature and responsible individual. Abdul possesses a "strong sense of duty and loyalty." Additionally, Abdul is willing to die for his comrades. As a strategic thinker and skilled Stand user, Abdul serves as the voice of reason for his team, though his emotionality does not always make him well-suited for this role. He is more focused on his goal than the others, and regularly ponders over the team's next move. Acting as the team's second-in-command besides Joseph, and being the second oldest person among them, Abdul is aware of the danger they face and often advocates caution during their journey.

In contrast to his usually strictly controlled persona, Abdul can be prone to panicking in unexpected situations, nearly using his Stand's flames. However, beyond his desire to present himself as a serious person, Abdul can be cheerful. For example, he appreciates the noisy atmosphere of India, and when he is in a particularly good mood, he will laugh wildly and act childishly. Abdul knows his strengths and shows great confidence in them. The fortune teller brags about the power of Magician's Red, responding to the enemy's boasts. When he makes a successful move in front of the enemy, he makes a smug smile, after which he makes his signature gesture (twirling his thumbs) and says "Yes, I am! Tch! Tch! Tch!".

Avdol's humanoid Stand is Magician's Red; it is capable of generating extremely powerful, yet controllable, flames.

Unlike natural fire, which rises upward or follows the wind, flames obey Avdol's own will.

Avdol's Stand represents the first Tarot card, "The Magician", symbolizing the beginning of something. Polnareff notes that this is fitting, as when the world began, it was surrounded by flames, implying that Avdol's Stand represents the beginning of the world. Continuing with the idea of ​​beginnings, Avdol is shown to be a character who always acts first in many things: He is the first to properly use a Stand and engage in combat, the first to face DIO, and the first to rush into danger to save someone.

Since Avdol was born with Magician's Red, he has had plenty of time to master his fire abilities. Abdul demonstrates the versatility of his pyromancy, manipulating the flames of Magician's Red extremely well, being able to shape them into precise shapes, such as creating flames in the shape of a number and controlling the intensity of the fire.
