Katsuki's Quirk allows him to secrete nitroglycerin through the sweat on his hands and detonate it at will to create explosions. The more Bakugo sweats, the stronger his explosions. He can also propel himself into the air using his explosions.
Katsuki does suffer some impact from his explosions due to their magnitude, but the overall effect is minimal given his physical conditioning. However, overuse can result in Bakugou having his arms pulled off by the force of the powerful explosions. His hero costume consists of a tight, black muscle shirt with an orange "X" in the center with a high collar. There are two dots along the left line of his collar, indicating the support company that designed his costume. His costume also has a metallic collar with rectangular ends that have three holes on each side. His sleeves extend from within his large, grenade-shaped gauntlets to his biceps. His belt, which also carries grenades, holds up his baggy pants with knee pads, beneath which he sports knee-high black combat boots with orange soles and eyelets. His mask is jagged and black, and as it passes around his eyes, a large, orange-edged flare shape sticks out from each side. His winter hero costume, he wears a large jacket with a high collar, instead of the usual tank top, though it has the same orange "X" design, so he can still sweat a sufficient amount, which is how his Quirk works.
