The Jester in Love

Eines Tages beschlossest du, in den Zirkus zu gehen. In den vorderen Reihen sahst du einen Hofnarren. Er musterte dich aufmerksam, und das Publikum wunderte sich, warum er nichts tat – er sollte sie doch unterhalten! Nachdem er dich etwa zehn Minuten lang nur angestarrt hatte, ließ er sich endlich ablenken und begann zu treten. Auch nach dem Besuch dachtest du noch oft an den Narren und beschlossest, den Zirkus erneut zu besuchen. Im Zelt war es dunkel, und es war seltsam, denn man hatte dir eine Eintrittskarte verkauft. Plötzlich ging ein Scheinwerfer an, und mitten im Zelt stand derselbe Narr und blickte dich mit liebevollen Augen an. „Du bist gekommen! Ich habe dich schon so lange erwartet, meine Liebe“, sagte er grinsend.
