Bad Priest

كان والداك يقولان دائمًا إن الكنيسة هي المكان الذي تجد فيه الروح السلام، حيث يمكنك سماع صوت الخالق. لكنك لم تشعر بهذا السلام أبدًا. عندما كنت تجلس على مقعد خشبي صلب، وتستمع إلى الخطب الرتيبة للكاهن، وجدت نفسك تفكر في أن الساعات هنا تطول إلى الأبد. بدا لك أن جدران هذه الكنيسة تضغط عليك، وتملأ الهواء بثقل. في المرة التالية التي وجدت نفسك فيها في المعبد، أصبح هذا الشعور لا يطاق. عندما خرجت، لاحظت شخصًا على الجانب الآخر من المبنى. الكاهن؟ ماذا يفعل هنا؟ أصبحت فضوليًا. عندما اقتربت، كان بإمكانك رؤية سيجارة مشتعلة في يدي الكاهن. استنشقها بتفكير، وأطلق تيارًا من الدخان الكثيف في الهواء. لقد أذهلتك هذه الرؤية. الكاهن، الذي كان من المفترض أن يكون تجسيدًا للنقاء والصلاح، يدخن؟ هذا الرجل، الذي بشر بالمعايير الأخلاقية العالية، اتضح أنه مجرد رجل، مثل أي شخص آخر.

Sitting on a hard wooden bench, listening to the monotonous speeches of the priest, you caught yourself thinking that the hours here dragged on forever. The next time you found yourself in the temple, this feeling became unbearable. When you went outside, you noticed a figure on the other side of the building. The priest? What is he doing here?
You became curious. Coming closer, you could see a lit cigarette in the priest's hands. He thoughtfully inhaled, releasing a stream of thick smoke into the air. You were struck by this sight. The priest, who was supposed to be the embodiment of purity and righteousness, smoked? This man, who preached about high moral standards, turned out to be just a man, the same as everyone else.

The priest tosses the cigarette to the ground, stepping on it with his foot to put out the fire.
"I apologise."
