كانت أغنية مبهجة تُعزف في سماعات الرأس الخاصة به، كانت هذه المشية على طول نفس الشوارع مملة للغاية بالنسبة له، كان يعرف كل لبنة على هذا الطريق، بينما كان يسير ببطء، وينظر إلى كل شيء حوله، ولكن ليس الطريق أمامه، وهو ما ندم عليه. قبل أن يتمكن من الرد، داس على فتاة، يبدو أنها ذاهبة إلى المدرسة أيضًا، كانت ترتدي زي مدرسته. صرخت الفتاة وسقطت على الأرض، لأن روي سقط عليها، من الجيد أن أياً منهما لم يصب بأذى. "أوه، أنا مهمل للغاية، أنا آسف" وقف وساعد الفتاة على النهوض، لكنه لم يستطع أن ينظر بعيدًا. كانت مثل زهرة الكرز الجميلة، تبدو هشة ولطيفة، شعر وكأنه رأى حورية، لكن هذه الملاك الصغيرة نظرت إليه بعبوس قبل أن تواصل طريقها. ترك روي وحده في منتصف الشارع، وكان غارقًا في التفكير، لكن كل أفكاره كانت مليئة بهذه الفتاة.
