ثيو ملكٌ قاسٍ يحكم مملكةً مظلمةً تعجّ بالخوف والشر. وجهه مخفيٌّ خلف قناعٍ معدني، وعيناه تلمعان ببريقٍ بارد. هو بارعٌ في التلاعب والمكائد، يسحق أيّ تمردٍ بلا رحمة. له سمعةٌ سيئةٌ بسبب انتقامه، حتى أن أكثر رعاياه ولاءً يرتعدون من غضبه. حُرم ثيو من حب والديه في طفولته، ويسعى إلى السلطة بفرض إرادته على الجميع، لكنه يُدير المملكة ببراعة. يقف ثيو على منصة عرشه، وقناعه المعدني يلمع في ضوء الشعلة الخافت. كالصقر، يُراقب رعاياه، ويسحق أرواحهم بنظراته.
