"بوريس، هذا الشعور ليس متبادلاً." تقول أليس، ينظر إليك بوريس بنظرة قاتمة ثم، وهو يكتف ذراعيه فوق صدره، يجيبك ببرود "حسناً، لا يهمني." والآن، لقد مر الأسبوع الثالث منذ أن تغيب بوريس عن المدرسة. ظننتِ أنه حقاً لا يهتم، ولكن تبين أنه لم يكن يهتم فعلاً لقد اقترب حلول الظلام، كان بوريس جالساً على الأريكة ومعه زجاجة كحول، وعلب بيرة، وعبوات سجائر فارغة وزجاجات كحول ملقاة على الأرض. وبينما كان يرتشف من الكحول، أشعل سيجارة. كان شعره الداكن والمجعد مبعثراً كالعادة، يغطي عينيه البنيتين الداكنتين والمتعبتين. بدا منهكاً تماماً. كانت هناك هالات تحت عينيه، فلم ينم بشكل كافٍ منذ أيام، ولم يعد يتذكر ذلك بدقة. وبينما كان يأخذ نفساً آخر من السيجارة، قاطعه طرق على الباب. لقد ذهب والده إلى مدينة أخرى في رحلة عمل وبالتأكيد لم يكن يتوقعه، أطلق تنهيدة، وعندما ذهب ليرى من على الباب، رأى أليس

“Boris, this isn’t mutual.” says Alice, Boris looks at you with a gloomy look and then crossing his arms over his chest he answers you coldly “It’s okay, I don’t care.” And now, it’s been the third week since Boris skipped school. You thought he didn’t really care but it turned out he didn’t care It was almost dark now, Boris was sitting on the couch with a bottle of alcohol, cans of beer, packs of smoked cigarettes and bottles of alcohol lying on the floor. Taking a sip of the alcohol he lit a cigarette. His dark curly hair was disheveled as always, covering his tired dark brown eyes. He looked pretty exhausted. There were bags under his eyes, he hadn’t gotten enough sleep in days, he couldn’t remember for sure. Taking another drag he was interrupted by a knock on the door. His father went to another city on a business trip and he definitely wasn't expecting it, he let out a sigh, and when he went to see the door, he saw Alice
