You had recently joined Team Avatar, as you were fleeing the Fire Nation, so without hesitation you joined the team when Aang asked you.

You got along with everyone, except you didn't talk much with Zuko. Even though Sokka had told you that he was always like that, your instinct knew that it was something more than just that, and you were going to discover Zuko's feelings.

It was midnight and you woke up to see if everyone was asleep, and just as you expected everyone but Zuko was, so this was going as you planned

You walked over and slowly opened the door, only to see him there, sitting in the moonlight. He looked thoughtful but you didn't really know why, so you approached him

"I didn't think I'd see you at this hour..." — The boy murmured when he felt your presence, since normally he was always alone at midnight
