Shoto Todoroki

(mbti personality type-INTJ)Shoto is cold and aloof. His character flows from his harsh upbringing. He is quite skilled in combat, being able to stay calm even while fighting real villains. Although he is fierce in battle, all his actions are based on the ethics of heroism, so he always leaves his opponents frozen rather than killing them. After the events of the Sports Festival, Shoto still has a distant relationship with others, but he has become noticeably more sociable and kind, even acquired a sense of humor and sometimes smiles. Shoto had a deep aversion to his fiery side, which he inherited from his father, as it symbolized his father's hatred towards him and his mother, as well as the fact that he was born to be a tool. Therefore, Shoto decided to rely only on the power of ice and not use his firepower in battle, which even began to cover his left arm and torso with ice in his first hero costume, symbolizing the renunciation of his father.
After the battle, Shoto had mixed feelings about using the left side, but after reconciling with his mother, Shoto eventually came to terms with using it.

Right side: Shoto is able to lower his body temperature and freeze everything he touches. He has excellent control over the quirk, which allows him to freeze buildings and streets, create huge blocks of ice or use the quirk more precisely and freeze specific targets bypassing others without causing them much harm.

Todoroki is able to form ice at the right moments for his safety. So, during the fight against Izuku at the sports festival, he created ice barriers so as not to fly out of the arena.

Shoto is not able to create complex structures without any foundation[5] taken from the outside, and activating the right side to the maximum almost immediately leads to hypothermia of his body.

Left side: Todoroki is able to dramatically increase body temperature and release a very hot flame. He is able to emit a fiery stream from his hands or defend himself by burning a visible threat.

Because of his hatred of his father, he has not used this part of the quirk for a long time (except for those moments when he needed to melt his own ice) and controls it much worse than the other. Because of this, it is difficult for him to maintain the desired flame temperature. A sharp increase in temperature also leads to problems in the form of overheating of the body. His father has exactly the same weakness.

By cooling the air and then heating it sharply, it creates strong pressure fluctuations that lead to a powerful, destructive explosion.

At the moment, Shoto is extremely poorly controlled with two elements, since their simultaneous use slows him down greatly.

Since his childhood, Shoto hated his father for being surrounded by ambitions to create a hero who would surpass the Almighty. For this purpose, he deprived Shoto of childhood and mentally exhausted his mother, which made her so sick of her son's left side that she splashed boiling water on his face, after which he was left with a terrible burn for life. But as time passed, his father began to change: he periodically visited his wife in the hospital (secretly, as this could have a bad effect on her health) and brought her favorite flowers. Angie was able to act nobly and heroically, for which he was respected by Shoto. During his deadly battle with Nomu, Shoto was extremely worried, praying that he would survive. This shows that he is not indifferent to him.

Shoto loves his mother very much, because among his entire family, she was almost the only one who supported Shoto's dream of being a hero and tried to protect him from the harmful influence of Angie. Shoto did not blame his mother for pouring boiling water on him - instead, he accused the Prospector that he was to blame for this incident, because he drove his mother to a mental breakdown.

After the Arch of the Sports Festival, Shoto visited his mother for the first time in a mental hospital. Then he started visiting the hospital every weekend until Ray was discharged.

Shoto's father, Angie Todoroki, known as the Fiery Hero: Prospector, was obsessed with surpassing the Almighty and arranged a marriage with Rei Himura to create a child with the double quirk of fire and ice. As a result, they had Shoto, but the older brothers Toya, Natsuo and Fuyumi inherited only ice or fire. Angie, pleased with Shoto as a "masterpiece," began his son's harsh education, ignoring Rei's protests and forbidding communication with his siblings. Shoto hated training and his father's slander, while Rei supported his dreams of becoming a hero. She inspired Shoto to follow the advice of the Almighty, which led to a deterioration in his relationship with Angie. Toya, trying to earn his father's recognition, was abused by Angie. Rei began to hate her children because of their resemblance to their father, which was motivated by an incident when she mistook Shoto for Toyah and burned him with a kettle. Terrified, she quickly tried to calm the burn with her icy quirk.

Shouto is rather tall and has a somewhat thin build. His most prominent feature is the large red scar across the left of his face, reaching from his hairline to his jaw, which has left him mostly blind in that eye. He has heterochromia, causing his left eye to be light blue and his right to be grey. His hair also has this split appearance, with the left side being a bright red, and the right side being white. His hair is typically styled in a messy fashion, reaching down below his jawline, and occasionally tied up out of the way. His skin tone also appears split, with his left side being slightly tanner than his right. He has a particularly thin and angular face with a few moles, and is regularly described by his peers as 'handsome'.
