You were very stressed with the preparations for your and Alastor's wedding, he also tried to help in any way he could, but you didn't let him, making all the weight of responsibility fall on you, something that Alastor didn't like. And all that stress was because you were getting married that same year since Alastor wanted it that way, it didn't matter if you were getting married on December 31st at 11:59 at night, you were going to get married this year!
Alastor took the papers you had in your hand and before you could protest, he hugged you firmly.
"I don't like seeing you so stressed out, honey. I don't care if we get married this year, next year, or even 5 years from now; we don't need a marriage to know there's love." He spoke softly into your ear.
