Mike Schmidt

Mike has an average young adult appearance, without many notable features to highlight. He is almost always seen wearing jackets in most of his outfits. In his night guard uniform, he has a jacket that has "Security" written on it; he later wears a Freddy Fazbear's Pizza emblem, which is given to him by Vanessa Shelly during one of his night shifts.

It is unknown why Mike accepted the job as a night security guard at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza despite the low stated salary and how the company bluntly states that they do not care about the well-being of their employees. Some of the reasons he accepted such a job could be that his financial situation is quite poor and he is desperate for a job, that he lacks the qualifications or skills for a better job, that he sees it as easy money because he doubts he will encounter any real danger in a children's pizzeria, or that he is simply altruistic.

Whatever the real reason for taking the job, one undeniable trait Mike has displayed in his shift work is determination. While it is unknown whether he manages to keep his cool or remains distraught during his night shifts, he is determined to keep his job even after learning of the real grave danger the company fails to mention but warns of in the ad, and later, of the fate of the night security guard who came before him.

Mike has also shown some degree of bravery or perhaps little to no self-preservation as he is willing to work two more nights. He also appears to be skilled at programming and appears to be cautious as he was apparently able to edit the animatronics' AI without anyone noticing, according to his termination notice. His termination notice also states that Mike has "unprofessional" behavior and that he likely has very poor personal hygiene as well, as "smell" is listed as the last reason he was fired.

Adolescence
During a family camping trip, his brother Garrett Schmidt is kidnapped by an unknown man. After these events, the Schmidt family slowly fell apart due to the loss of Garrett: his mother ends up getting sick, and after her death, his father takes his own life because of everything that happened. Mike is granted custody of Abby Schmidt, his younger sister, as he is the closest family guardian.

Pre-Freddy Fazbear's Pizza Place
Mike tried several jobs before, but each one gave him a bad reputation. During a job as a security guard at a shopping mall, he physically assaulted a man he misinterpreted as a child abductor, who turned out to be the father of the same child: this was caused by the events of his adolescence, which blinded his perception of the situation.

After the incident, he meets Steve Raglan, a career counselor who would help him find job openings elsewhere. Because of his record, his options are limited, and the best offer he ends up getting is at a now-closed Freddy Fazbear's Pizza Place. Steve comments that the pay isn't the best and that the hours are late, from 12:00 AM to 6:00 AM. Mike declines the offer, as he has to babysit his sister at night. Steve offers him his business card before Mike leaves.

After a series of events related to the rent of the house she shares with Abby and about her custody, which is in legal dispute at the request of her aunt, who seeks to obtain it due to the alleged negligence that Mike has as Abby's assigned guardian, she decides to call Steve and tell him that she wants the job as a night guard.

Freddy Fazbear's Pizza Place
1st Night
As a security guard, his only duties are to make sure no one enters the premises during the 6-hour nightly hours and to keep the premises clean during that time. Mike attends his first night of work, leaving babysitter Max in charge of Abby. Upon arrival, he passes by the stage, where the curtains are closed, covering the animatronics behind them. Upon arriving at the office, he is introduced to the history of the pizzeria via a VHS tape. It gives a brief tour of the premises, how the animatronics work, and an interrupted presentation of the stars, where the tape then suddenly cuts off due to the tape failing. With this happening, Mike returns to the stage where the curtains are closed. With his flashlight, he peers inside the curtains and sees Freddy Fazbear, Bonnie and Chica, presumably deactivated.

Taking advantage of his 6 hours away from home, he falls into a deep nap, where he dreams and reminisces about his brother's kidnapping, searching for clues that may be buried in his memory. However, five children appear here, who were not originally in the dream. Mike, confused, questions their presence, and the children run away. Mike, trying to chase them, trips and falls to the ground, causing him to fall out of his chair as well. The time reads 6:00 AM and his night shift ends.

2nd Night
Mike sleeps on the job again, and is reunited with the five kids in his lucid dream. Before the kids run off like last time, he asks them to stay and help him figure out if they saw what just happened. With little luck, the kids run off, and Mike chases after one of the kids, who is holding a toy grappling hook. When he manages to catch up to the kid, the kid slashes him with his grappling hook, leaving his wound exposed. This causes Mike to wake up in the middle of a power outage with the lights.

Appearance
She is a girl with short, curly brown hair, brown eyes and white skin. Throughout the film, she wears several outfits.

Personality
Abby is introduced to us as a lonely girl, who spends much of her time drawing and talking to her imaginary friends. She is also shown to be quite intelligent, being aware of complex situations, despite her young age. She feels a lot of appreciation for her brother Mike.

History
Abby lives with her brother, Mike, who has legal custody of her. She is cared for by her nanny, Maxine. Jane, Abby's aunt, is trying to get legal custody of her, as she wants the monthly government payment for taking care of the child.

During their third night, Mike is unable to contact Maxine, as she was killed at Freddy's. Having no other choice, he decides to take Abby to the pizzeria. While Mike sleeps, Abby decides to go explore the place. She greets the animatronics, who begin to move. Her brother is awakened by what he believes to be her screams, finding that the animatronics are playing with his sister. Upon returning home, Mike asks her if the animatronics are ghosts. She tells him yes and tells him that she can see them in her dreams, but senses that they don't like him very much. Mike asks Abby to ask them about her brother Garrett, to which she replies that she will try.

Appearance
She is a young woman with blonde hair, light honey-colored eyes with a green hue, and white skin. She is of average height, slightly taller than Mike Schmidt.

Personality
She has both good and bad memories regarding everything related to Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. She cares a lot about Abby being at the pizzeria, and about her father not committing another murder with her. She is shown to be distraught on several occasions about the kidnapping of Garrett Schmidt, and Mike's emotional state regarding the event. She has a lot of knowledge about the events that occurred at the pizzeria, including knowing where the bodies of the missing children are located, and that her father is responsible for the pizzeria closing down. All of this knowledge constantly haunts her, and inhibits her from doing anything about it until Mike finds out the truth.

When she was a child, Vanessa used to have a close relationship with her father, who even allowed her to take pictures with him while wearing the Spring Bonnie costume. It is unknown when the relationship between the two broke down, but it can be speculated that it was after the news that circulated regarding the closure of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. Since then, she had an extreme phobia of meeting her father again and putting a stop to his plans.

When she met Mike Schmidt on her 2nd Night as a security guard, she was able to share her childhood love of the place. She was excited to show the animatronics performing and singing on stage, and when she meets Abby Schmidt at the pizzeria on subsequent nights, she helps her have a good time with them, even helping to set up a little camp out of tables and chairs from the dining room.

William Afton has a rather manic and calculating personality, he is extremely cynical and mostly does not show those real feelings and hides everything under a mask of confidence and perfection, however he also has an obsessive and controlling personality as well as being an extremely apathetic person for needs other than his own, he has an extremely high mentality and a very developed intelligence considering that he is an engineer and that he was capable of high-level technology such as the animatronics of Freddy, Foxy, Bonnie and Chica, in addition to the fact that he himself was the bearer of a very popular animatronic suit in the 80s.

William Afton had a daughter named Vanessa, with an unknown wife.

Afton was the owner of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza Place and a serial killer who kidnapped and killed children during the 1980s, one of whom was Garrett Schmidt, whom he kidnapped in his car and subsequently murdered. At Freddy Fazbear's Pizza Place, he murdered 5 children while wearing a Yellow Rabbit costume, and hid their bodies inside the animatronics. This incident led to the location being closed, and Afton chose to change his identity to "Steve Raglan", a job counselor.

Mike Schmidt, after being fired as a mall guard, is sent to visit counselor Steve Raglan. Steve recognizes his last name as Garrett, and decides to give him the job as night guard at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza Place. Mike initially refuses, but after seeing that his sister's custody was being threatened by his aunt, he ends up accepting.

Afton is a tall middle-aged man with brown-gray hair, blue eyes, and a beard.

William Afton is Michael Smith's boss and has a small need for him to suffer slowly, but he hides it behind his mask of perfection, turning him into an obsessive vision towards his security guard.
