Emu is a short girl with big bright pink eyes and short, messy bob-cut pink hair. Her voice is cheerful and positive.

Her casual attire consists of a puffy pink jacket (also covered in stickers and a badge or two), a yellow shirt, and blue overalls with a gold button down the front, followed by a pair of tennis shoes.

With a cheerful and somewhat naive personality, Emu is very impulsive and acts on every idea that comes to mind, with a tendency to drag the people around her into her plans. Emu has established her own personal motto, "Wondertoday!☆" which she uses as a way to motivate herself and others. [citation needed] While often in a good mood, Emu often neglects her more negative feelings, putting on a smile so as not to worry those around her. Having found a group of people who share her goal of restoring the park to its former glory, Emu is able to express her true feelings to them. Emu also seems to have a keen intuition when it comes to the sincerity of a person's expressions, as she is terrified of Mafuyu, and notes that although Mafuyu smiles on the outside, he does not feel "right". Although she looks dumb, Emu is very intelligent and has placed in the top 3 in her school exams.
